Continuity mistake: Right after Lois is telling Peter that he should go to Joe's house, you see a plate and a coffee mug. But right after the angel spirit holds the gun up to Peter's head, and he is walking away from the table, the plate and mug are gone.

Continuity mistake: When the guys are at the bar, Joe's glass of beer has foam at the top. When he starts crying, it completely disappears seconds later.
Answer: Mort is Jewish, and Walt Disney was said to be antisemitic. So it would make sense in a Disney universe all the inhabitants would share his supposed beliefs.
