There's Something About Paulie - S2-E16

Continuity mistake: During scenes with Paulie, in a few shots the two rings Paulie is wearing on his left hand disappear/reappear, and the mole on Paulie's face also vanishes in a couple of shots. Some examples: (1) After Paulie's remark about a coke mule, Lois says, "Peter, living room," then Paulie's mole and rings disappear. (2) While Paulie and Peter are sitting on the swing, Paulie's two rings vanish when the swing collapses. (3) Following the hail of bullets, when Paulie turns and falls onto the puddle, the rings are gone. (00:12:00)

Continuity mistake: When Peter tells Lois he accidentally put a hit out on her after she sees Big Fat Tony dead in the newspaper, the paper is set on the table in front of Peter by a yellow box. Continuity mistake: Just before the pest control team leaves for the Griffins', we see the black team member holding a shotgun in his hand. After showing Logan in shot, it returns to the black member and he's now holding what looks to be an MP5 machine gun. In the following shot as he starts to slide down the pole, the gun is once again a shotgun. (00:04:00)

He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17

Continuity mistake: At the pool when Chris doesn't want to take his shirt off, Peter climbs out of the pool to ask if he's hiding bruises. Behind Peter is a blonde woman in a purple one-piece swimsuit standing next to a man in a green speedo. Then, after Lois walks up and is talking to him, the close-up of her shows a bunch of people behind her, including the same blonde woman in a purple one-piece now standing next to a different man in blue swim trunks. Underage Peter - S14-E14

Plot hole: They're in the Clam complaining that they can't drink when they make the revelation that Brian can because he's technically 56. But Quagmire should be able to drink, as in a much earlier episode, he's revealed to be over 60.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Quagmire considers the rest of them to be his best friends. He isn't drinking because they can't drink. He is complaining because since his friends can't drink - he won't drink, so he is still pissed.

It's still a plot hole considering Quagmire's age. I think the writers messed up big time.

You make a good point, but it's awkward to be that one person who is drinking while surrounded by people who can't. So, I understand the correction that was submitted above. Because his friends are not drinking, he now feels that he can't.

It's 100% a mistake. Quagmire simply would buy them alcohol the same way Brian did when they realized he could.

Barely Legal - S5-E8

Connie: You know, Meg, there's no dogs allowed. So, you're going to have to leave. But Brian can stay.
Brian Griffin: You know, Connie, I think I have this theory about why you're such a bitch.
Connie: Excuse me?
Meg Griffin: Brian, let's just go.
Brian Griffin: No, no, no, no, no, no. Hang on a minute, Meg, hang on. You see, Connie, you're popular because you developed early and started giving handjobs when you were twelve. But now you can't stand to look in the mirror because all you see is a whore. So you pick on Meg to avoid the inevitable realization that once your body's used up by age nineteen, you're gonna be a worn out chalky skinned burlap sack that even your own stepdad won't want. How is that? Am I in the ballpark?
[Connie runs off crying].

Business Guy - S8-E9

Question: In the episode, Peter threatens to fire Lois, and she responds with "you wouldn't" and Peter then replies with "Oh really, does the name Lacey Chabert mean anything to you?" which in turn makes Lois go wide eyed and reply with "OK, I'll behave" and Peter then goes on to add "Yes you will" Can anyone explain this joke if it is a joke to comprehend?

Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
