Continuity mistake: When Turk, Elliot and Carla are in the queue for their food in the canteen, look at Jordan's tray in the background, it's got pretty much just a napkin on it. Yet in the next shot, a magazine suddenly materialises from nowhere. (00:01:50)
Continuity mistake: When JD jumps onto the gurney, there is a light blue bed sheet and pillow on there, but later when he is dropped off where Molly is outside, the bed sheet and pillow are no longer there. (00:06:55 - 00:07:50)
Continuity mistake: When Dr Cox throws JD's TV remote on the table, it lands upside down near to the magazine on the middle of the table. However, the next shot of the table shows the TV remote facing the right way up and near the corner of the table. Also the magazine seems to have moved slightly away from JD's beer. (00:18:20 - 00:18:55)
Continuity mistake: Just after Dr Elliot Reid says "frick on a stick with a brick", Dr Cox and Dr Reid have a conversation. In between shots Dr Cox's stethoscope seems to change position. Look mainly at the ear piece side and you'll notice it's closer to his neck and sometimes further. Dr Reid's starts off with 1 earpiece behind her name tag and then between shots both earpieces are above her name tag. At the very end of the conversation, they somehow move behind her name tag. My Monster - S2-E10
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Turk, JD and Dr Cox are talking about women, and how many they've slept with, take a look at the items on the table in the background that Dr Cox was previously sitting on, they appear and vanish. Mainly the cup and napkin dispenser appears and disappears in between shots. (00:15:35 - 00:16:20)
Continuity mistake: In this episode Cole has a mole that is found to be cancerous, the mole is not seen in any other episode. He is topless in many episodes and the mole is not in any other one.
Factual error: The Toyota Prius uses an electronic transmission that requires the ignition to be turned on. Since J.D. said that he had no idea how to operate the car, he could not have pushed it from the parking space because he wouldn't have been able to put it in neutral.
My Best Friend's Wedding - S3-E22
Continuity mistake: Despite being made "Co-Best Man" in "My Porcelain God", Turk's brother is nowhere to be seen throughout the entire wedding.
Visible crew/equipment: When the elevator stalls, Ted and Gooch start singing their state songs to Cox and Kelso. As they start their song for Arkansas, a boom mike momentarily dips just a bit into frame at the top.
My Best Friend's Baby's Baby and My Baby's Baby - S6-E2
Continuity mistake: When Turk goes into the room with the camcorder on the tripod, the viewer is already open from the front. However when it goes into the back shot of Turk to show Carla, the viewer is shut again. Then it goes to the front view of Turk and the camcorder, it's open again without anyone touching it.
My Bad Too - S7-E7
Continuity mistake: After the kid collapses walking across the stage, J.D. and Eliot sit down in the cafeteria and start talking. J.D.'s hands are under the table. The shot switches and J.D.'s forearms are now resting on the table.
Continuity mistake: When Drew and Denise are having their awkward moment in front of the elevator, watch the background. Colonel Doctor walks by twice in the same direction.
Continuity mistake: Near the end, when Elliot, Carla and Jordan are in the bar, the waitress brings them three drinks; two short, clear ones and a cosmopolitan with a lime. A few shots later, Carla is seen from the front drinking the cosmo. The next shot from behind her shows the drink instantly on the table. The drink switches instantly between her hand and the table several times in the following shots.
My Nickname - S1-E10
Visible crew/equipment: When Turk goes into a patients room, looks out the window and sees Kelso, a hand is visible at the bottom of the room's door.
Continuity mistake: At the end, when J.D. has found out he is going to Reno, he turns to gloat to the other residents, and Dr. Cox. Snoop Dog Resident appears both in the group of interns opposite Dr. Cox, as well as directly behind Dr. Cox.
Continuity mistake: When Turk, JD and Carla are drinking wine , JD's glass is sitting on the table, when Turk goes to pour wine on JD the glass is in his hand.
Revealing mistake: Right after Dr. Cox gives the results of the patients STD tests, the shot switches to show Turk, JD, the Todd and Dr. Kelso. Before the sprinkler activates you can tell that their hair is already wet from previous takes.
My Day Off - S1-E9
Continuity mistake: When Dr Cox is talking to his old mentor after his infection, the oxygen tube in his nose appears out of nowhere after he says "I'm feeling great, Bob."
Answer: No, it was a fake, they used a stamp.
It is real.
