The Cryonic Woman - S3-E3

Continuity mistake: When Fry and the kid are racing along the motorway, just after they let go of the cars they are holding onto, they head into a lamp post. This leads them to banging their heads and collapsing on the floor, because the ribbon they were holding onto forces them into the lamp post. When they fall on the floor, the dust shoots up. After the dust disappears, the lamp post has as well, meaning that the ribbon isn't actually tied around anything.

Heroes (2006)

Acceptance - S4-E4

Continuity mistake: The second time Hiro goes to the rooftop and tries to save Tadashi he has ink on his face from stopping the photocopier from working. However when we cut back to him from Tadashi the ink has vanished, then when we do get the next shot of him the ink is back on his face again.

My Fault - S3-E20

Continuity mistake: At 18:42 in the show, it shows Turk and Carla talking about re-inviting the female head of surgery to their wedding. During this shot, in which Turk and Carla are closest to the camera, Turks ID badge is facing the wrong way. When the camera angle changes at 18:46 to showing Turk and Carla from the other side (as if from the female head of surgery's POV) Turks ID badge is now showing the right way. It stays like this for the rest of the scene. (00:18:40)

Life on Mars (2006)

Show generally

Easter egg: On the Series 1 Disc 4 on the main menu, when you have the 'Play All' button highlighted, go up and highlight what looks like a mobile phone. If you press enter you get the director of the first two episodes discussing the use of CGI within said episodes for about 2 1/2 minutes.

Cellular (2004)

Other mistake: The video quality on the phone would not be as good as the film makes out. In fact, as far as I know, no mobile phone has that quality. The fact that they would then be using the video he filmed off the camcorder as evidence just makes no sense, as you definitely wouldn't be able to see anything on the phone anyway.

General questions

I remember watching a TV programme when I was at primary school. It will have been around the early 1990's. All I can remember from it was that it featured somebody at a keyboard typing in the word "qwertyuiop" and I remember that something happened after they typed it in. Please, please can somebody help me by telling me the title of the programme or what actually happened when they typed in "qwertyuiop"?

David Hutchinson

Chosen answer: I think you are referring to Storyworld, an ITV schools programme in which Tony Robinson ("Baldric" from the Blackadder series) used the magic word qwertyuiop to bring stories to life.

My Family (2000)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: Throughout the first series Ben and Susan's bedroom had the window on the left of the screen and the bathroom on the right. In the second series onwards the bathroom and the window have mysteriously swapped around. Also the entire layout of the house changes dramaticly.

Strained Relations - S4-E2

Visible crew/equipment: When everyone's back at the flat, as Del Boy is looking straight down the hallway to his and Rodney's bedroom, someone comes up to him and he turns around. When it goes from his close-up to the wide shot of everyone else the shadow of the camera reversing backwards is visible for a few seconds.
