Continuity mistake: As Klinger and Margaret are talking about the date, he takes a sip of his drink and goes to put his hand down. After the angle changes and he goes to say his line, he repeats putting the glass down.

Continuity mistake: Margaret comes in to the Officer's Club, and tells Klinger that the drinks are on her. He puts down two glasses, and starts to pour. When the camera cuts to a close up, he's just starting to pour into the same glass again.

Continuity mistake: When Klinger is coming over the hill at the end of the episode, the camera shows him in the outdoor setting, and the spot he's on has sparse vegetation. When the camera goes to a close up of him, the trees and shrubs are thicker and closer to him. This alternates a couple of times.

Continuity mistake: When Potter is on the phone, he turns to hush Hawkeye and BJ. As he does so, he's holding the receiver with his left hand, and covering the mouthpiece with his right. He then puts his left hand down on the arm of the chair. When the camera cuts in for a close up, his left hand is on the phone again.

Continuity mistake: Charles arranges a prank that involves a cake. The cake looks totally different in the respective shots. At least three cakes were involved: The one Klinger gives to Margret looks different from the one she holds in her hands when walking over to Capt. Hill. The one she holds in her hand in the closeup counter shots is yet another pie.

Continuity mistake: Charles (in scrubs), Radar, and Father Mulchahy are all in the changing room when Radar and Mulchahy go take a phone call. When entering the comm room, Charles has appeared and is complaining about waiting for a phone call in his fatigues.

Continuity mistake: While Igor is serving dinner, his cap peak goes from being up in the front shot to down in the side shot, while he is talking to Col. Potter.

A Night at Rosie's - S7-E23

Continuity mistake: When the pit boss is taking the rolled up 5 containing the pair of dice out of his pocket, his fingers are hiding the end toward Mulcahy. When the camera angle changes, the fingers are moved so Mulcahy can see the hidden dice.

Too Many Cooks - S8-E1

Continuity mistake: After BJ and Hawkeye taste Klinger's plateful of Spam Parmesan they all sit down at the table, and when BJ pulls the plate away from Hawkeye it cuts to another angle and the knife has jumped to the other side of the plate, and the fickle cup keeps sidling across the table to be beside the bowl depending on the angle.

Continuity mistake: When Mulcahy is describing a person who was "quite a Bozo" to Potter, Potter realizes who he is referring to. Mulcahy's arm is close to the table. When the camera cuts to Mulcahy's face, his mug is close to his face.

Continuity mistake: When Potter is chewing out Klinger about the morning reports, the camera is looking at Potter. As he finishes his line with "once in a while", he puts his right arm down. When the camera cuts to look at Klinger from behind Potter, his (Potter's) arm is up and finger pointing at Klinger.

Visible crew/equipment: After Charles confronts Choi Sung Ho about the candy, Ho explains that he sold it on the black market to buy real food, and when Ho reenters the mess tent through the side door, we can see that outside there's a director's chair, which actors also use, with something printed on its back.

Trivia: There were no American planes shot down over the Sea of Japan during the Korean conflict. It is rumoured that producer/director Larry Gelbart knew that, but wrote Henry Blake's death scene as he was very unhappy with the way Mclean Stevenson had left the show, and was determined to make it clear that there was no way he would be coming back.

Ceasefire - S1-E23

Question: General Clayton says that he confirmed the news of a ceasefire with "CINCOMPAC" (according to the subtitles). What the heck is CINCOMPAC?

Answer: It is actually Cencompac for Central Command of the Pacific. It is like the headquarters for all military activity in the Pacific Region (Japan, Korea, Okinawa, etc. The newer version of that is United States Pacific Command (USPACOM).
