Frasier

Three Blind Dates - S9-E17

Continuity mistake: During the opening credits, Niles, Roz, and Daphne are sitting on the couch. Niles has put Frasier's biography on the coffee table but when the shot changes and Frasier comes in, Niles is suddenly holding the bio in his hand.

A Man, a Plan and a Gal: Julia - S11-E2

Continuity mistake: Martin is standing at the door talking to Frasier about taking Eddie to the vet. From one shot to the next the leash changes position from being over Eddie's head to being under his chin - without enough time for this to happen naturally.

Beloved Infidel - S1-E8

Continuity mistake: Frasier is at the dining room table with Niles looking at Niles's childhood journal. He has his left hand ready to turn a page but in the next shot his hand is on the table, with no time for a natural shift.

The Bad Son - S8-E3

Continuity mistake: Niles and Daphne are on the couch talking about the meteor shower and Niles is holding Daphne's hand between his right hand and his left knee. In the next shot, without enough time for this to happen naturally, his right hand is on his right knee.

Decoys - S6-E16

Continuity mistake: As part of his divorce settlement from Maris, Niles gains ownership of Shady Glen, Maris' mountain home. After this episode, Shady Glen is never seen or mentioned again. What's even odder is that Niles and the rest of the characters over the years go to mountain cabins, which makes no sense because wouldn't they just use Niles' place?

Three Dates and a Breakup (1) - S4-E19

Continuity mistake: Daphne has the bag of groceries on the floor between the coffee table and the couch - when Stephanie leaves the apartment the loaf of bread is sticking out on the left side but when Marty comes into the living room, the bread is now on the other side of the bag and leaning to the right.

Daphne Hates Sherry - S4-E21

Continuity mistake: When Frasier and Marty are sitting at the breakfast table, talking about the weather, Frasier's newspaper is sometimes folded over and sometimes not, although he never changes it from shot to shot.

A Tsar is Born - S7-E7

Continuity mistake: When Marty is being interviewed at the Antiques Road Show, the expert's clipboard changes from being flat against his body to perpendicular to it - with no time for a natural shift in position.

A Tsar is Born - S7-E7

Continuity mistake: During the opening credits, Roz is in Cafe Nervosa with a laptop. Next to it are 3 or 3 crumpled pieces of paper or Kleenex. A couple of shots later the pile shrinks to maybe one piece - without Roz or anyone else touching them.

To Tell the Truth - S6-E15

Continuity mistake: Frasier goes into the kitchen to get Niles some water; he gets an empty glass goblet, then opens the fridge and takes out a bottle of water and then it cuts to the glass sitting on the counter already full of water.

The Apparent Trap - S7-E9

Continuity mistake: Lilith takes on the job of pouring wine for Thanksgiving dinner - we see her pour 2 glasses but when the shot changes there are 3 full glasses of wine on the table even though there had been none before she started.

Slow Tango in South Seattle - S2-E1

Other mistake: When Frasier is complaining that he is not mentioned in the acknowledgments of the novel, he picks up the book and then slams it down on the desk. It sits face up, near the front of the desk. In the next shot of the desk, we see that the book is face down and has moved back.

Four for the Seesaw - S4-E13

Continuity mistake: Just after Daphne and Marty leave Frasier's booth, Roz picks up the clipboard from the console to Frasier's right and puts it out of sight; when the doctor comes into the booth the clipboard is suddenly on the console again.

Frasier: Niles, I would shave my head for you.
Niles: A gesture which becomes less significant with each passing year.

Show generally

Question: There's probably an obvious answer to this but is there any actual in-show significance to the 'Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs' song heard at the end of every episode? I ask mainly because I remembered there was one show in particular where Frasier unintentionally scars Lilith emotionally and pretty much cements the end of their relationship over a misunderstanding about scrambled eggs. Were there any similar conflicts over a tossed salad?

Answer: In the last episode, they explained that Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs is a metaphor for the mixed-up people to whom Frasier dispenses his radio psychiatric advice.
