Continuity mistake: (This is for "Goodnight Seattle.") When Eddie is eating the pate with the ring in it, in the wide shot we see that he's finished all the food and is licking the plate clean. It then cuts to a closeup, and the plate is suddenly full of food. Back to the wide shot, and he's licking a clean plate again.Krista
Continuity mistake: Niles and Daphne are in the elevator talking about Donny. Daphne has her hands on top of her purse with her fingers laced together. Niles puts his hand over hers but in the next shot his hand is on her wrist and she has her hand against her jacket's lapel.
Continuity mistake: Niles, Frasier, Marty, and Daphne are at Niles' apartment and they have just found out Maris killed her lover. Niles' overcoat is on a chair behind the couch. He decides to go the police station, tells Daphne to stay put, and heads towards the hall on the left. In the next shot he is carrying his coat and heading out the front door with Marty - there just wasn't enough time for him to have got over to his coat and back to the door.
Continuity mistake: Right at the start when Frasier is talking to Niles in the furniture shop, at one point he says "Don't you hear that," and holds his hand in a fist. The shot cuts instantly to Niles and you can see his hand is now about a foot higher and his palm is suddenly open.David Mercier
Continuity mistake: Niles is sitting at a table in Cafe Nervosa looking at a magazine - he has a page folded back and we can a large photo on the page. When Roz comes over to use her cell, the shot goes back to Niles and now he has the mag opened at a different page. There's another change when Frasier comes over to use his cellphone. At no time did Niles actually turn a page or even have time to do so.
Continuity mistake: At the very end of the show, when Frasier, Niles and Martin are on the balcony, all three have their hands and arms folded in front of them, leaning on the railing. The shot then goes to behind them, and Frasier is standing with his arms straight out, and only his hands on the railing.
