Trivia: In this episode, Cordelia makes a reference to "self-destructing tapes and a dossier". This is a reference to the 1966 TV series Mission Impossible, which featured self-destructing tapes used to send the main character on his assignment. An interesting fact is that Mission Impossible regulars Martin Landau and Barbara Bain are the real life parents of Juliet Landau, who played Spike's former love Drusilla during season 2 of Buffy.

Trivia: At the end of the episode, when Doyle asks "What happened to Russell?", Angel says "He went into the light". Anne Rice used this line quite a lot in her books about vampires.

Judgment - S2-E1

Continuity mistake: Right after Cordelia has her vision, Wesley goes to the whiteboard. In the "Case" column he writes "N.D.U.O." Underneath what looks like "CARYNSS" crossed out. But once they find out that it is a Prio Motu demon and Angel writes it on the whiteboard, "N.D.U.O." disappears even though Angel did not rub it off.
