Continuity mistake: After Carrie asks Ray if he wants to 'play her', she pulls down the neckline of her top to reveal a strap on her left shoulder. But in the next shot when Ray moves behind Carrie and we are facing them, suddenly her top is pulled back up, and there is no strap showing. Revealing mistake: During this scene, Samantha throws a cantaloupe through the window. As Sarah Jessica Parker reacts to the incident, you can see her very pregnant belly from the side, especially as she bends over. Continuity mistake: When Charlotte is crying into the pillow, we can see that she's gotten black eye make-up on it. The splodges of make-up disappear twice during the scene, most noticeable just when Carrie walks in holding the baby.
Continuity mistake: Samantha is wearing black pantyhose when she pulls Carrie into the bathroom to tell her about her bad dye job on her crotch. Then she pulls up her skirt to show Carrie, and her legs are bare.

Continuity mistake: During the scene when Carrie and Sam are in the changing booth at the clothing store, Carrie starts helping Sam take his shirt off. She pulls the outer plaid shirt down quite a bit, revealing his white undershirt. But in the next shot of him, Sam suddenly has the plaid shirt back up around his neck. Then in his next shot, it's back down and the white undershirt is showing again.
Revealing mistake: When Tray and Charlotte stand by Tyffany's door, bystanders on the right and on the left sneak-in to see the filming.

Continuity mistake: In S1E11 "The drought", right next to Carrie's window there's a building very few meters away, with some neighbours having sex. When this episode ends there's now a tree in front of the window and a wide street between the building in front.
