The One With The Rumor - S8-E9
Corrected entry: In The One With The Rumour (series 8) Monica begins showing Phoebe that she's meant to fold the napkins like swans. However Phoebe manages to get out of it to 'watch the game' with Chandler. You would think that Monica would have, therefore, folded them into swans herself, seeing as she always has to have everything perfect, but there is no sign of napkins, never mind 'swan' napkins, at the table when they have their meal.
The One In Massapequa - S8-E18
Corrected entry: When Ross is telling the imaginary story of how he 'proposed' to Rachel, he says that he did it at the planetarium because 'that's where we had our first date.' However this cannot be right because in series 4 'The One With Chandler In A Box,' Ross accuses Rachel of having no sentiment so she shows him a movie stub from their first date, implying that they went to see a movie, not to the planetarium.
Correction: True, Ross and Rachel didn't go to the Planetarium on their first date, but they did end up there on their second date. It was also the place where they first made love, and it's quite possible Ross would say it was the location of their first date to be polite and not talk about sex in front of his family and older friends.
The One Where Chandler Takes a Bath - S8-E13
Corrected entry: When Chandler is in the bath, Phoebe congratulates Monica on his 'size'; but in an earlier episode she tells Chandler and Monica that she looks when men are on the table and Chandler says 'You look? You massage me' and she laughs and says 'I know' which suggests something else.
Correction: In the massage episode she could just be trying to psyche him out, Phoebe style. With Phoebe you can never be sure.
The One With The Video Tape - S8-E4
Corrected entry: In The One With The Video Tape, Ross enters the apartment when everyone on the couch and tells Rachel that he did not watch the video of them, and hands her a vhs tape. The video camera takes a tape much smaller than a vhs tape. Why would he transfer it on to a vhs tape? Shouldn't he have handed her a smaller tape?
Correction: Joey's video camera is quite a large one - it could easily take a full-size VHS tape.
The One In Massapequa - S8-E18
Corrected entry: In 'The One In Massapequa,' Ross and Rachel have to pretend to be married for the night at the party. Unless everyone was blind, then wouldn't someone notice Rachel and Ross didn't have a ring on their finger? (00:06:30)
Correction: Not every married couple wear wedding rings. Ross mentions that Rachel said something about a dove placing the ring on her finger, but remember, Rachel is pregnant during this, it is very possible that people thought she'd just taken off her ring because her hands had swollen due to the pregnancy.
The One With Monica's Boots - S8-E10
Corrected entry: In the one with Sting's son Phoebe is reading an article in a magazine saying that Sting's son is in the same class at school as Ben and reads that he is seven years old, hence Ben is too. Later on when Ross tells Phoebe that Ben is seven Phoebe is shocked that is that old, as if she didn't already know.
Correction: Phoebe knew that it was the same school that Ben attended, but she did not know that it was the same class. The article was not about Ben being in the same class as the boy, it was about Sting's son going to that school. Therefore, it it perfectly legitimate that Phoebe would not know Ben's age.
The One Where Rachel is Late - S8-E22
Corrected entry: At the end of the episode Rachel's water breaks when she is sitting down being kissed by Ross. Despite this her skirt is completely dry when she and Ross walk out of the door to go to hospital.
Correction: When a water breaks, water does not always gush out. For some women it's just a tiny little trickle they can just feel.
The One Where Rachel Tells... - S8-E3
Corrected entry: After Rachel tells Ross she is pregnant with his baby they go to see a midwife who performs an ultrasound scan. However, she never once touches Rachel with the equipment, yet when they look at the screen they are told "There's your baby," and they can see it moving and the heart beating etc.
Correction: Most pregnant women will tell you there are 2 types of ultrasounds. It was likely that they were portraying an Intravaginal Ultrasound, hence no need for her to be near Rachel's stomach.
But it was still weird that she didn't complain when they performed the intravaginal ultrasound on her (if that's the one they did on her). It's still a little painful and you feel every movement in you.
Correction: Both Will and Ross are seen with napkins in several scenes.
