Question: When talking to Alston, the police captain said he sought out a black officer who hasn't made rank because he's "got no rabbi" and therefore is likely "on the outside enough to be trusted"- what does the phrase "got no rabbi" mean?

Question: During the opening credits, each main character is shown briefly in 3 sets of one second scenes from different episodes while the actor's or actress' name is shown. I've seen all the episodes these brief scenes come from except one... the first of 3 from Kelly (where she's waving her fingers). I've never been able to find this brief scene in any episode. Anybody know where this scene is from?

Mr. Monk, Private Eye - S5-E5

Question: When Jay is about to shoot Monk on the boat, the boat dips in the water (almost the way a car would dip when hitting a pothole). What would cause this? It almost looks like it was done deliberately by a stunt driver. And if it's from hitting a wave or wake, I would think the boat would bounce up first.

Question: Why wasn't the naphthalene poisoning noticed when tests were run? It's easily detectable through blood tests, and scans.

Grandpa Jack - S9-E4

Question: This is a question without a knowable answer. But I wonder if anyone has thoughts as to why we hear nothing of Elliot's mother? Jack and Elliot are estranged. Elliot's mother, Bonnie (originally played by Rosie O'Donnell), acknowledged to Jack that she is a lesbian in the original run of the series. So, when Elliot marries a conservative woman, moves to Texas, and makes plans to send his gay son to a gay conversion camp, where is Bonnie in all of this?
