Corrected entry: When Kikuchiyo impresses the Samurai by catching a fish, it's rather obvious that it's a dead fish that he grabs out of the water. A live fish would flop around and be gasping for water, but the fish he holds is completely motionless. Obviously this was done because it actually is QUITE difficult to catch a live fish in water.

Corrected entry: When Eliot first confronts Frank with a shotgun inside Frank's office, Eliot fires three shots from his shotgun without reloading. The double barrel shotgun he's using can only shoot twice before he has to reload. Interestingly enough, this is the only scene where that happens. The rest of the scenes of Eliot shooting adhere to the two shot and reload rule.
Correction: This is incorrect. After the 2nd shot you can hear the distinct sound of the shotgun being opened, loaded, and closed before the 3rd shot.

Corrected entry: When Val, Earl and Rhonda are stranded on the boulder the camera shows a wide shot of the entire area, then fades to dark. It's clear that the nearest boulder to theirs is at least 25 feet away. The next morning the trio "pole vault" between boulder to boulder with 7-8 feet long poles. The boulders magically became much closer together overnight. (00:38:45 - 00:40:40)
Correction: The shot at night is in a different direction - when we see the path to the truck in other shots there are more boulders, closer together.

American Graffiti (1973)
Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, they have the black Chevy flip over. It was actually very hard to get the Chevy to flip, as the car had been lowered and the suspension had been upgraded. To make matters worse, this shot was always filmed at magic hour, which only gave them a window of an hour to film it. It took almost a month, and 4 or 5 attempts before they could actually flip the Chevy.
Correction: The chevy used in the crash scene is not the same car seen throughout the movie. That car, which was later used in the movie Two Lane Blacktop and others, was not lowered, it was lifted, and you can see from the bottom of the car that was crashed that it has the stock engine and exhaust (still coated with grease and oil). You can find many articles regarding the history of the '55 black chevy. It is at many car shows these days, as is Milners '32 coupe.
The car was used in Two Lane Blacktop before American Graffiti.
Correction: Milner's car was a '56. Check the tail lights or the front chrome.
Sorry. Not Milner's car, but Falfa's. There is a line where someone says to Milner that there's a '56 Chevy looking for him.
It's a 55, no matter who said it in the movie. The car still exists, actually both of them, as one was a camera car, and both were and still are 55s.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003)
Corrected entry: When John breaks into the animal clinic, he gets shot with his own "paintball gun". A real paintball gun is easily 4 or 5 times the size of a real handgun, and could never be disguised as the 9mm model shown. A real paintball gun requires a large CO2 cartridge, and the paintballs fired are around the size of a quarter, much larger than 9mm. Even though some paintball cartridges are made that can be fired from conventional firearms for training purposes, the guns still need extensive and noticeable modifications, which his gun doesn't have. Correction: It's merely Katherine Brewster not knowing the technically correct word for the gun. A BB [airsoft] gun with "splatter bullets" would look like a real gun, and still have the paint bullets that would work as they do in the movie. A lot of people call hardball guns paintball guns by mistake, especially if they never actually use either.

Corrected entry: In the scene when Max decides to turn around, there is an overhead shot of the U-turn, showing the front end of the semi. The Claw raider should be visible behind the rear window of the semi, but he isn't.
Correction: The raider is shown fighting with the boy a few shots and seconds before the turn. During that overhead shot, we only see a portion of the turn, very quickly, and our vantage point doesn't allow enough view to determine the raider is or isn't still there, or whether he has used the few seconds off screen to move over, further out of our view. His absence is not certain.

Corrected entry: Max shoots the driver of the red XA Coupe with his shotgun. They then show the car going out of control, and cut to a close-up of the XA's windshield. The passenger of the XA is seen fighting with the steering wheel trying to get the car under control. Then it cuts back to a larger exterior shot of the car, and it's obvious that there's not even a passenger in it.
Correction: As you said, the driver is shot and the passenger slides over to control the car. As the various shots occur, the driver is slumping lower and the passenger is further into the driver's position so that it appears the driver is there and the passenger gone, but the passenger is now the driver and the driver is slumped out of sight.

Corrected entry: When Max leaves the compound in the semi, he hits the wrecked pink 1959 DeSoto knocking it almost sideways. When they show the compound exploding, the DeSoto is now sitting back where it was before Max hit it.
Correction: The car's wheels are turned toward the compound so that after the collision, it has rolled foward again, but not quite to the point it started.

Corrected entry: Look closely at the car which is wrecked right in front of the gate as Max enters the compound, it's the landau that flipped upside down in the opening chase, minus the supercharger that was sticking out of its hood, but the hole for the charger is still there.
Correction: It's not hard to believe the raiders recovered the wreck in the day or more since the crash and have used it in the interim in some fashion that ended with it lying near the fortress. Not really a mistake unless the car were shown fresh and undamaged as if this scene were filmed before the crash scene shown earlier.
No. When Max goes back to the site to recover the truck, the wrecked Landau is still there. The only explanation is that there were two identical vehicles and Humungus' gang have lost both; one to the refinery/fortress and one to Max.

Corrected entry: In the prison, Kirk is being accosted by the huge alien that wants Kirk's clothes. The alien shouts angrily at him, yet the voice you hear doesn't match the alien's lip movements. In fact, most of the time the alien's lips don't even move.
Correction: He's an alien and doesn't conform to human attributes (like the alien with his genitals on his knees).

Corrected entry: When Max is driving the semi back to the compound, Wez shoots the tires out. In the next scene though, the tires are fine.
Correction: The next scene takes place the following day, after the mechanics in the compound have had 12 hours (and more) to make repairs on the truck. Which, of course, would have included replacing the lost tires.

Corrected entry: Robocop has to weigh at least 500 pounds. So why is it when he gets in his squad car (that wasn't even designed for him specifically) it doesn't lean to the drivers side? His weight should cause significant stress on the cheap Taurus model squad car's suspension.
Correction: There's no dialogue in the movie that specifies how much RoboCop weighs. He could be built from lightweight metal alloys. (At one point, he wraps his arm around Lewis and she helps him walk, so obviously he doesn't weigh that much more than a normal human being.).

Corrected entry: Val runs to save Mindy who is jumping on her pogo stick. When he snatches her off of it, the pogostick stays standing completly upright. The camera cuts to Val, Mindy and Mindy's mom. They have a bit of dialogue. It cuts back to the pogostick that's standing straight up, and the graboid sucks it into the ground. It would have had to have been standing for around 5 seconds before the graboid got to it, on its end and unsupported. (00:47:55)

Corrected entry: Right before Cynthia comes over, Jack is looking into the mirror and getting ready. He picks up a gun shaped hair dryer and starts drying his hair. However his hair was already dry to begin with.
Correction: So, he was slightly balding, so it might make him feel younger to pretend he has more hair (i.e. by drying it). Also, his date is coming up, and he wants to style it with a hair dryer.

Corrected entry: In the beginning of the film Donnie and Lefty are towing a Porsche behind Donnie's Cadillac. They seem to have the Porsche attached to the Caddy with some rope or maybe a leather belt (way too close together to be a proper A-frame tow bar). The problem with this type of towing is that any time the Caddy would slow down or accelerate hard the Porsche would slam into the back of the Caddy.
Correction: One can actually see an A-frame bar, with some rope tangled onto it. It is better spottable in slow motion, however can be seen if you look closely.

Corrected entry: Near the beginning of the film Max rams a car driving in front of him, shattering the front bumper of his car. In the shot right before this though, they show Max's car approaching the car in front of him, but the front bumper is already damaged.

Corrected entry: The snake that Max has a face off with is actually just a common bull snake, totally harmless to humans, non-poisonous, and usually very passive (you'll notice the snake never really does anything aggressive to Max).
Correction: A person not knowing the different kinds of snakes, or having a phobia of snakes (like me) wouldn't take the time to distinguish if the snake is poisonous or not, rather would have the fight or flight instinct take over and either run away, or kill it. It is, at best a character mistake, but certainly not a movie mistake.

Corrected entry: After max delivers the Semi to the compound, The Humungus makes his little speech about him swearing revenge on them all. His voice sounds like he's talking over his microphone, except we can see he doesn't have his mike near his face, or even in his hands.
Correction: The mike is being held by one of his minions, close behind him.

Corrected entry: When Max is collecting the fuel leaking out of the dune buggy that just crashed, you can see that the dune buggy no longer has an engine. You can see the input shaft assembly on the transmission, which is where the engine should be.
Correction: The engine came off during the crash as it flipped, before it came to rest.

Corrected entry: When Grim bursts into the mob warehouse, the mob guys ask him what happened to the original bagman "Mario". Grim says that someone did him in. A few minutes later the mob boss gets on the phone to verify Grim's story, and Grim threatens them by sicking the Mario back on them, and they fall for it. Didn't he just tell them that Mario was dead though?
Correction: "Someone did him in" is wrong. Grim says "someone dared him".
