Monk (2002)

Mr. Monk Buys A House - S7-E1

Corrected entry: In the scene where Monk, Natalie, Stottlemeyer and Disher open Cassie Drake's front door and find her body, notice that Disher pulls the front door outwards. Most front doors open inwards.

Correction: Not all front doors open in. Ours doesn't.

I Love You, Man (2009)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Sid shows Peter his bumper car, he says he bought it off eBay. He tells him he had to pay the "buy it now" price because he was in a bidding war with someone else and didn't want to lose it. On eBay, once a bid is made, the "buy it now" choice disappears and is no longer an option.

Cindy

Correction: This isn't always true. If a listing has a reserve price, the Buy It Now doesn't disappear until the reserve price has been met.

Knowing (2009)

Corrected entry: When John is talking to Diana on the way to Lucinda's house at night time, he mentions that his wife died at 4 in the morning, from a hotel fire. He then says that "I thought you we're supposed to sense when someone you loved was in danger. I didn't feel a thing, I was just on the front lawn, blowing leaves". He was blowing leaves at 4 in the morning?

Correction: John also says that his wife was on a business trip in Phoenix when she died. They live in Massachusetts, so with the time difference he would have been blowing leaves at 7:00am.

Ingabritzen

Corrected entry: The movie was made in 2008, but the Twin Towers appear in the skyline of NYC when Alex arrives.

Correction: The part that shows Alex arriving in NYC is a flashback. Presumably prior to 2001 since he's a cub.

Poseidon (2006)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Josh Lucas and Kurt Russell are looking at a map of the ship, Josh points to the right side of the ship, and says they have to go in that direction to get to the engines. If the ship is upside down, and Josh is pointing to the right, then they would have to go to the left. That would be the correct direction if the ship were upright. It's not a character mistake because once the debris has been cleared, they end up going towards the right.

Jane Doe

Correction: I'm not sure which scene you're referring to, but all through the movie every map they look at is upside-down... even at the end when Kurt Russell pulls the map off of the wall. He holds it upside-down, so he was pointing in the right direction.

Ice Age (2002)

Corrected entry: When the group go through the ice cavern, they walk past a frozen UFO. If you watch the child closely, you can see he forms a 'V' with his fingers. This is the Vulcan hand sign, from Star Trek, which means 'live long and prosper'.

Correction: While this is true, it isn't really trivia. It's more of an in-joke that most viewers probably figured out for themselves.

Lost (2004)

...In Translation - S1-E17

Corrected entry: When Jin goes to the guy's house to deliver the "message", the man's daughter is watching TV. The man on TV is Hurley. (Explained why in the next episode, "Numbers".)

Correction: This isn't trivia. it's a plot point.

The Aviator (2004)

Corrected entry: After talking about the plane orders and plans with Juan Trippe, Howard goes to the bathroom to wash his hands. Notice the dish he takes the soap out of. From the shot to shot above the sink, the soap dish on the right hand side of the sink constantly changes position and the interior of the soap dish is sometimes brown and sometimes aluminum. (01:23:20)

luchador

Correction: The soap dish keeps moving because Howard is putting the soap in it and taking it back out. The interior of the dish (which is really a portable case) is always aluminum. The brown seen is the soap itself.

Corrected entry: When they go to investigate the phantom signal, just after Ned asks Zissou if he can call him "dad", Zissou orders the crew to go ahead by clicking his fingers. This is impossible, they're under water.

Malaver

Correction: Snapping his fingers is a running joke through-out the movie.

First Wives Club (1996)

Corrected entry: The charity banquet at the end of the movie takes place at the newly christened crisis center. However, it is never explained why a crisis center would have an enormous ballroom.

DavidK93

Correction: It's converted warehouse space and the "ballroom" sized area is already there. You see it before they remodel. It isn't unusual for a charitable organization to have a large space like that for fundraising events... especially when the space renovation was paid for by the whole premise of the movie.

First Wives Club (1996)

Corrected entry: When the ladies come out of the office and away to go down the window washing thing Diane Keaton comes out not wearing glasses and the looks over the edge and screams as she tries to run back her glasses appear on her face.

James Warrender

Correction: She's wearing the glasses the whole time. When she first walks out onto the balconey, the photo-grey lenses haven't darkened yet so they aren't as noticable. As they get on the window-washers platform, they're darker.

Copycat (1995)

Corrected entry: Near the end in the toilet scene, Holly Hunter's white blouse is splattered with blood. A few moments later on the roof the blouse is brilliantly white.

Correction: The part that has blood on it is covered by her jacket. All you see on the roof is the collar.

Ingabritzen

Corrected entry: In the cave scene, when Dan, Jerry, and Tom are caught in the rain storm wearing only their underwear, they decide that they must huddle together for body heat if they want to avoid hypothermia. A slow sexy song starts playing as they move closer and closer, and you see Dan slowly unhook his fanny pack and drop it to the ground. Then they're laying down "spooning" against each other, but when they suddenly pull apart and jump up, Dan is wearing the fanny pack again.

Cal K.

Correction: You see Dan pick up the fanny pack and put it back on after they jump up.

Stigmata (1999)

Corrected entry: After she is inflicted with the thorn wounds, the scars on her head change almost every time the scene changes. And when she goes out and wears the head scarf, it only covers to the hair line but she no longer has any marks.

Correction: Not true. The scarf is pulled down over her forehead almost to her eyebrows.

Liar Liar (1997)

Corrected entry: In one scene, Fletcher is in court and he totally messes up his hair. But when he gets off the elevator a few seconds later, his hair is perfectly combed.

Correction: It's a few seconds in the movie, but it wouldn't really have only taken a few seconds to get from court to his office. All he really would have to have done is run his hands through his hair to smooth it back down.

Jeepers Creepers (2001)

Corrected entry: When Darryl falls down the pit, he realizes his hand is bleeding so he tears off his shirt sleeve and uses it as a makeshift bandage. That was his left hand. Later, in the car with Trish, he has a proper one-on his RIGHT hand.

Correction: He never has a bandage on his right hand. It's always on his left hand.
