Continuity mistake: When it shows Harry writing in the diary, he writes "My name is Harry Potter." When he does this he says what he is writing. It shows what he is writing until he gets to the letters "Po..." Then the shot cuts out to Harry still continuing his sentence. But he only write about 1 or 2 more letters. That means he couldn't have finished his name. (01:28:10)

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001)
Question: When Harry's parents are shown in the mirror, are they supposed to be the age that they were when they died or the age they would be if they were still alive?
Chosen answer: Since the mirror is reflecting Harry's desire, they are probably an idealized (to Harry) image of what they would look like if they were still alive.
Answer: He didn't just desire his parents but a whole family. Therefore he saw his entire family.
In the novel he saw his whole family. In the movie, he only saw his parents.

Factual error: The beehive is a large part of this story for Archie wants to get it down for Ava. But bees do not make hives like that. The type of hive that they show is similar to a wasp's. (01:02:35)

It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
Factual error: Since it's cold and snowing throughout most of the movie, how come you never see the people's breath? This is because when they filmed these parts, it was very hot outside, but it's still a mistake.
Suggested correction: Seeing a person's breath is not entirely dependent on how cold it is, but rather how much or how little humidity there is in the air.
Seeing your breath is based on how cold it is, however, with high enough relative humidity, you're able to see your breath in warmer temperatures. If it's cold enough to snow, it's cold enough to see your breath, regardless of what the humidity is.

Malcolm in the Middle (2000)
Continuity mistake: When the Tarantula is put on Hal at the zoo, the shot is only of a yellow shirt with the tarantula crawling on it. When the shot changes to where they show the whole Hal, you can easily tell that the tarantula is fake - it is larger than it was and is in a different spot on Hal's shirt.
