Corrected entry: In the scene where young Norman kills the horny young girl, as he's talking to Mother, she can be seen moving and even blinking her eyes when the camera's at her back, yet at this point in the movie, she's been murdered and placed back in her bed. Clearly the actress missed the memo.

Elizabeth (1998)
Corrected entry: Laetitia Knollys did not die by wearing Queen's poisoned dress as shown in the film but rather lived til her 90s and in 1578 married Robert Dudley himself.
Correction: The dead woman was her governess Kat Ashley. She even calls out her name in the hallways up to her dead body.
It most certainly was Lettice Knollys in the dress in the film, as you can see it is Kelly McDonald lying on the floor. Dudley had flirted with her earlier, just outside the Queen's bedchamber, calling her 'beautiful'. Kat Ashley (Emily Mortimer) is later on cutting Elizabeth's hair while sobbing during the Queen's 'rebirth' at the end of the film.

The Lake House (2006)
Corrected entry: The reason Sandra Bullock buys the lake house is because she witnesses Keanu Reeves' death. She "meets" Keanu Reeves because she bought the lake house. In order for this to happen, Keanu has to die in her time, yet at the end of the movie, he lives therefore she never would have bought the house or met him.
Correction: By the time Kate witnessed Alex's death at the Plaza not only had she and Morgan already bought the Lake House, they'd already moved OUT. (She left the note for the 'new' tenant first THEN saw Alex die.) Kate had already met Alex two years earlier at her birthday party (at her old house - at this point Alex is still living at the Lake House), and the only reason she and Morgan were able to move in to the Lake House was because Alex moved out and gave Morgan the keys because he knew it was what Kate wanted. Kate's buying the LH was nothing to do with Alex's fate.
Kate rents (not purchases) the LH. She rents it while finishing her residency "in a small hospital up along the North Shore." The birthday party is at Morgan's house (not Kate and Morgan), and is described by Kate telling Morgan about his jumping "10 steps" ahead and inviting the whole town to the party. Kate breaks up with Morgan about the time of the b-day or when she moves to LH. Alex has no address for Kate, but has Morgan's card and can give him the keys. No evidence Morgan ever visits LH.

Blackadder (1986)
The Witchsmeller Pursuivant - S1-E5
Corrected entry: When Edmund, Baldrick and Percy are put on the fire, Edmund says "Oh (cough) off, Baldrick", but his mouth moves as if he's saying a word at the point of the cough - the cough sound was dubbed in over the original word.
Correction: That's the gag. It was not meant to be Edmund coughing, but a member of the crowd. There are few swear words allowed in a sitcom and f*** isn't one of them (which is presumably what Edmund said). The cough was placed at the convenient place as to drown out the original word. There was a similar gag in series 2, whereby the episode is cut off just as Lady Whiteadder is about to say the 'f' word at the end of 'Beer'.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Corrected entry: When Arnie is thrown by the T-1000 through the store window during the fight in the mall, a bystander takes some pictures of him. The bystander is standing on Arnie's left, so the pictures should be of his left profile. When we see the pictures later on, however, they show a head-on view. (00:43:10)
Corrected entry: When Gollum finds the ring under water the hand picking it up off the bottom is plainly human and flesh in color then the next shot the hand is out of the water and opens to expose the ring it is that of a stoor, (blue in color, bad nails, and horrible skin) (00:05:25)
Correction: The shot of the hand picking the ring out the water comes from the scene which we eventually see in its entirety at the beginning of ROTK. It is the moment when Deagol finds the One Ring and his hand is flesh coloured. The second shot is of Smeagol many centuries later when he has become Gollum, hence his bad complexion.

Beverly Hills Cop (1984)
Corrected entry: Once Billy Rosewood has eventually pushed Taggart over the wall Sergeant Taggart has trouble with which weapon to use. As soon as he is over the wall he has a pistol, then a shot-gun, then the pistol again, then finally he decides to use the shot-gun one more time.
Correction: Once Taggart is over the wall, Rosewood has the shotgun leaving Taggart with his pistol. After Rosewood has shot the bad guy Taggart takes the shotgun back. Then the trio jump over a wall as another man fires at them but Taggart drops the shotgun as he lands - you can see it slide away from him - Taggart then continues to fire with his pistol. Finally while the camera is focused on Foley reloading his own gun there's plenty of time for Taggart to reacquire the shotgun.

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991)
Corrected entry: The Sheriff tells two girls to be at his room at 10:30 and 10:45. The concept of the 24 hour clock had not yet been thought of - it was thought of by a group of monks who needed to know when to start their morning prayers in the 1330's.
Correction: But there's nothing there to say he is using the 24 hour clock. 10 pm in 24 hr is 2200 - which he doesn't say. 10.30 / 10.45 is in 12 hr mode, which is fine. Even if the mistake refers to modern time conventions, it's acceptable given that language back then would be near-incomprehensible to us now anyway - this is just another example of dialogue being "translated" into modern English.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
Corrected entry: After Frodo is paralyzed by the spider and taken captive, his captors take some of his personal effects - clothing, chain mail, and, of course, THE RING. Whoever took that ring should have been compelled to put it on (at which point Sauron would have seen it and sent his minions to recover it), and would not have just left it lying around somewhere for Sam to find later.

Correction: This is far too obvious to have been missed by the actors, director, editor, etc. It is intentional. We first see it from Norman's perspective, and to him, through his eyes, mother is still alive. Then we see it from the opposite angle, and we see the scene for what it really is.
