Corrected entry: A lot of the sketches in the pilot episode were repeated or re-filmed throughout Series 1.
Corrected entry: This is the only series of the show (including the radio show) that does NOT start with a Vicky Pollard sketch.
Correction: Things that can be seen simply by watching the episode are not valid trivia.
Corrected entry: When Mr.Mann walks into the shop, tho shop owner quickly says he is just about to close for lunch, But if you look at the clock behind him it says 5:30.
Corrected entry: In the 'Only Gay in the Village' sketch, Myfanwy the barmaid is named after a director.
Correction: Seeing as Myfanwy is a very common Welsh name for a female, it is extremely unlikely that the name was used purely because it was shared by a director of the show.
Corrected entry: When Lou takes Andy to the opera on his Birthday, it's exactly the same shot as when St John's ambulance help the man who had a heart attack, just with the different characters in the box.
Correction: Why is this a mistake? It's just the same theatre visited by different characters.
Corrected entry: When the man's phone goes off while he is playing the piano, there is a monophonic sounding text tone. That phone is a Nokia 6100, and the tone should have had a more polyphonic tone to it.
Correction: Polyphonic phones can still be used to download monophonic tones. My phone enables real sounding ringtones yet I still have my old monophonic tones.
Corrected entry: In several sketches with Ray, when he plays his flute, the music doesn't match his finger movements.
Correction: This is done deliberatly, it's part of the gag.
Corrected entry: If you notice that whenever Andy points at something that he wants ('I want that one.'), Lou always picks out the one miles away from it.
Correction: Andy never looks at the 'one' he points to, so Lou will know that and choose something different. Even if it doesn't make sense, it's also part of the joke.
Corrected entry: When the old woman is sitting in her flat, the opening credits of 'The Good Life' is on TV. However, the theme tune playing is totally different to the correct tune. They weren't allowed to use the real tune, but it's still a mistake.
Correction: The music used is a song called "Good Life" by the group Inner City. It is not a mistake, but rather an intentional joke.
Corrected entry: In the sketch where Lou and Andy are buying a birthday card for Andy's brother Declan, Andy does his "I want that one." routine and points to a black card with what appears to be two stars on it. Yet when Lou points to a card and says "That one?" and Andy says "Yeah.", Lou's pointing to the white card below the black one.
Correction: Andy doesn't really care what card he points to. He isn't even looking.
Correction: Things that can be seen simply by watching the show are not valid trivia.
