Plot hole: Other than a reason to advance the the plot the Americans have no reason to launch their second rocket. If they're prepared to go to war because they think the Russians will steal another rocket then don't launch the rocket. It's not like there is an urgency to get another rocket into space so as far as the Americans are concerned what is the hurry?

Escape Plan (2013)

Plot hole: The Tomb is supposed to be a top-secret off the grid prison that nobody is supposed to know about yet the schematics for the place are conveniently left available online such that a hacker can search for it with no problem, on top of that the fact that it's known on the outside world as "The Tomb" suggests it's more well-known to people that it should be.

Escape Plan (2013)

Plot hole: Breslin is supposed to going to an off the grid prison, a place nobody is supposed to know about outside of the prison except for Clark, who is the only one who really knew where Breslin was being sent. So why in the world would there be a warden as the "contact on site" that Breslin would inform if things didn't go well? It also makes no sense that Breslin would have an evacuation code when his own people have absolutely no idea where in the world he could possibly be.

Outbreak (1995)

Factual error: When the camera is panning through the different rooms of USAMRIID it exits out of BSL-3 and as it does a female technician takes her breathing mask off before she opens the door. This is supposed to be the highly infectious room that tests things like Anthrax or H.I.V. yet this woman not only takes her mask off she's not even quarantined or decontaminated.

WarGames (1983)

Continuity mistake: When everyone is trying to get Joshua/WOPR to stand down from launching its own missiles, McKittrick's assistant Paul is standing with the rest of the group, but then there is a quick shot of Paul looking at the WOPR and then within seconds Paul is overheard saying "must be caught in a loop" as if he's standing beside everyone again.

The Last Stand (2013)

Plot hole: While I don't doubt Cortez put a lot of time in planning his escape from the FBI there's no way he could have predicted there would have been a police roadblock mere minutes from where he was.

Supergirl (1984)

Plot hole: Superman (or Kal-El) was a baby when his parents sent him away from Krypton before its destruction, and as Jor-El told his son in his first message he would have already been dead by then for thousands of Superman's years. Kara never existed during any of this yet so somehow she instantly recognizes him from the poster on the wall, even though she should have no idea who he is.

Midway (1976)

Revealing mistake: When Admiral Nagumo and Rear Admiral Kusaka walk onto the bridge of the Akagi for the first time while the ships are still in Hiroshima Bay look closely at the bay in the windows, it's obvious the background is a matte painting, the water isn't moving.

Halloween (1978)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film the Myers' house is within walking distance of the Strode house, both of which are on one side of town, while the Doyle and Wallace houses are on other considering the driving distance Annie and Laurie had to drive to get to them. But at the end of the film somehow the Myers' house is now within walking distance of the Doyle and Wallace houses.

Suggested correction: Annie and Laurie took so long to get to the Doyle and Wallace houses simply because they were cruising around town, giving themselves enough time to smoke Annie's weed. After they leave the hardware store when the sun was setting, they continue killing time. That's why it was completely dark by the time they arrived at their babysitting jobs; they didn't drive directly there. Remember also, Tommy walks to school too. If the Strode and Doyle houses were truly a long drive from each other, he and Laurie would've never crossed paths earlier that morning when she drops the key off. All the characters' houses in the film (and both schools) are within walking distance of each other.

R.O.T.O.R. (1987)

Plot hole: Considering everything seen in the film is supposed to be told as a flashback through the narration of the Coldyron it's never explained how the conversation between the couple could even be in the film, since Coldyron wasn't a witness to it.

Slaughter High (1986)

Plot hole: The school is supposed to be rundown and closed after ten years yet Marty somehow manages to get in, rig up all his traps (including the acid through the bath pipes), and setup the reunion supplies without the caretaker ever catching on to anything that's going on. It also begs the question if the caretaker was there the whole time until he was killed how did he not notice the other students waiting outside for several hours or their cars to ask what they were doing while outside?

Plot hole: During the climax with Van Helsing and the Kraken the writers of the film seemed to have forgotten about the powers Dracula has always had. At no point does his super speed or indestructibility ever come into play, he could have easily climbed up to the DJ booth and dealt with Van Helsing in seconds instead of going through the silly DJ battle.

Suggested correction: The kraken was faster and stronger than Dracula, if you watched he kept trying to reach the DJ booth and fight but was stopped each time and nearly crushed. It was said that the kraken was extremely strong and the only thing that could subdue him was a more powerful song than the other.

Despicable Me 3 (2017)

Plot hole: After Gru and Dru knock Bratt's robot down to the street Bratt resumes using the laser to cut the city up but the robot wouldn't be able to even see over the buildings around it, so how can Bratt even know where to fire the laser at that point, when he can't see what he's hitting?

Suggested correction: I think it's safe to say Bratt doesn't care at this point, from a mix of confusion, desperation and spiteful frustration.

Sudden Death (1995)

Plot hole: It's hard to believe that not one single civilian at the game (other than the main characters) is aware of what is going on outside. With hundreds of cops and paramedics surrounding the building and the explosions that happen during the game someone would have figured out something was up long before the end of the film.

Spy Game (2001)

Plot hole: Muir is retiring after 30 years with the C.I.A. You would think considering his years of service and the people he was working with (especially Troy) it would have already been known that he had been married only once and not four times like he was letting on.
