Corrected entry: If you take a look at some of the individual extras who are supposedly running for their lives (in this and many other disaster movies) you can see that they're just jogging along like they've already done it 20 times that day. (00:50:55)

Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Corrected entry: When the zombie is eating a dead guy's intestines in the store room of the sports equipment store, the dead guy closes and opens his mouth.
Correction: It is very possible that the man the zombie was eating was not dead yet.

Tremors (1990)
Corrected entry: It seems as though both Burt and Heather should be at least temporarily deaf after the lengthy gun battle against the monster in their basement, given that they weren't wearing any protection over their ears.
Correction: They may have indeed been temporarily deaf but we dont know how much time passed before they killed the graboid and then they broadcasted their vicotry. They could have had time to recover.

Psycho (1960)
Corrected entry: When Arbogast reaches the top of the stairs and Norman (as Mrs. Bates) rushes out and stabs him, in the wide shot he misses Arbogast's face, no blood appears, and the knife hits him near his chest. But in the closeup, Arbogast suddenly has a bloody slash down his face.
Correction: It's a spurt of blood from his chest wound that's on his face, not a bloody gash.

Remember the Titans (2000)
Corrected entry: The little girl speaks with a Southern accent, but (assuming she's a native of Alexandria, Virginia) she would sound really strange; no one in Northern Virginia has a Southern accent. They also appear to live on a farm, but Alexandria is an urban area adjacent to downtown Washington D.C.
Correction: Many people who lived in Alexandria in the 1960s had southern accents. As the population grew and more people from the north, mid-west and west moved to the area, the accents weren't as pronounced or disappeared altogether. Also, there were still a few farms inside the Beltway and many farms outside the Beltway during this period. I was born in Alexandria, grew up less than a mile from T.C. Williams in the 1960's and 1970's and still have a southern accent - just not as strong as when I was younger.

Twister (1996)
Corrected entry: Aunt Meg's house is destroyed by the tornado, but her spindly metal lawn ornaments remain upright, intact, and in working order? Hmmm...
Correction: Those ornaments were homemade wind/tornado detectors. They're all designed to spin around with the wind so there is almost no surface area for the storm to knock over unlike a house or truck.

Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)
Corrected entry: It seems a little odd that Daniel would call up Miranda with a whole story about how he's an English nanny who worked for the Smythe family for however many years and so on and so forth, but not think to make up a name for himself.
Correction: He's making it up as he goes along - there's no preconception because he just got off the phone with her with another voice.
Correction: Ironically, he DID make up a quick name at the start of his second call (when he was in the bathtub).

The Little Mermaid (1989)
Corrected entry: When Ariel is turned back into a mermaid after the sun sets and Ursula jumps overboard with her, Ariel is still wearing her dress. A second later underwater however, not only has the dress disappeared but her seashell bra has magically reappeared. (01:10:00)
Correction: Completly true. However, Ariel was going to be changed back to exactly how she was when Ursula first changed her(with the exception of her voice) That explains how her seashells returned also it's a DISNEY film they can't realy show a person topless! As to her dress, Ariel just got of the ship and into the water before the transformation was complete.

Grease (1978)
Corrected entry: After Sonny is reprimanded by the principal for being late to class, he and the T-Birds run into Eugene on the stairs. Eugene is strolling along with his briefcase and doesn't appear to have any kind of pass or note that would indicate that he's on an errand for a teacher. So what's a goody-goody like him doing wandering the halls after class has started?
Correction: Eugene is holding papers and heading in the direction of the front office, he is most likely running and errand for his home-room teacher. A "goody-goody" would be the number one choice of teachers to do this.

Titanic (1997)
Corrected entry: It seems strange during the dinner scene that Rose's mother and Cal would make a point to mention that Jack is from third-class. Obviously they're trying to embarrass him, but it seems like they'd be causing more embarrassment to themselves to admit that they're actually sitting at the same table as (oh, horrors) someone from steerage. You'd think they would just ignore him as much as possible. (00:59:20)

Beaches (1988)
Corrected entry: At the beginning when the girls are reading each other's letters, at one point Hillary is competing in a horse show. Doesn't it seem a little silly that she's reading CC's letter as she sits on her horse in the middle of a competition?
Correction: Hillary's not actually competing at the moment she's reading, she is basically practicing before the competition and warming up, so she does not have to be focused.
Corrected entry: I think this is just in the extended version: During the last battle, when Legolas shoots about six Orcs in a row with his arrows, and one of the last Orcs falls before the arrow hits him. (01:21:20)
Correction: The Uruk fall is not caused initially by Legolas's arrow. It trips on a log before he is hit probably due to the poor visibility inside his helmet. Also watch Legolas he adjusts his arm to account for the sudden increase in the Uruks forward and downwards motion. And just to be pedantic they are Uruk-hai not orcs.

Enemy at the Gates (2001)
Corrected entry: It's doubtful that the car Danilov rolls in the beginning is equiped with seat belts, but somehow he emerges from the wreck with nothing but a few scratches and a broken lens in his glasses, which haven't even fallen off.
Correction: We never see the inside of the car, so we have no way of knowing what steps he took to protect himself, or whether he had seat belts or not. As for the glasses, some time passes before he crawls out. He could easily have lost them, then recovered them and climbed out.

Armageddon (1998)
Corrected entry: Not exactly a mistake, but... the asteroids hit the earth at the beginning, and of all the millions of square miles of the earth's surface, they just happen to hit right in the middle of downtown New York, then Paris? How convenient for the destruction-hungry audience.
Correction: All well and good, but not really trivia.

Grease (1978)
Corrected entry: In the ice cream parlor, when Danny is sitting with his friends and Sandy is on the upper level, eating with Tom, Rizzo comes by, and says "Somebody snaking you, Danny?" She glances and nods her head to the right, but Sandy and Tom are in plain sight over her left shoulder. (00:43:00)

Independence Day (1996)
Corrected entry: The entire scene where Will Smith and his girlfriend first see the spaceship is pretty ridiculous. First, Will goes out to get the paper, but instead of taking it back in the house, he opens it up and starts reading it - in the yard. Then Jasmine comes out (conveniently neglecting to notice the spaceship that's directly in her line of vision) and offers him a cup of coffee - in the yard. Were they planning to spend the rest of the morning standing in the front yard? (00:25:20)
Correction: Steve and Jasmine just woke up and are suffering from a certain amount of morning grogginess. This explains why they don't notice the saucer in the distant sky - most people don't look up at the sky as a matter of course. Steve is looking through the paper's headlines before he heads back to the house - not an unusual thing to do, before he returns to the house and the paper is completely disassembled. Jasmine would know this morning ritual since they have been together so long and looks out for him by giving him fresh coffee instead of waiting for him to come back inside. Maybe it's not what every American does in the morning, but it's not completely bizarre, either.

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991)
Corrected entry: When Fanny says she wants to help in the fight, John says, "Are you on bleeding crack, girl?" Somehow I doubt the substance or the saying existed at the time.

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)
Corrected entry: When Elliot goes to wash the dishes at the beginning, he turns on the water, and in only about two or three seconds, massive amounts of steam start rising up. Sink water never heats up that fast.
Correction: The mom was at the sink before Elliot, so she could have had the hot water on while doing the dishes.
Correction: It can, if the hot water had been running shortly before and the water in the pipes is still hot.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Corrected entry: When Arnie is thrown by the T-1000 through the store window during the fight in the mall, a bystander takes some pictures of him. The bystander is standing on Arnie's left, so the pictures should be of his left profile. When we see the pictures later on, however, they show a head-on view. (00:43:10)

The Lion King (1994)
Corrected entry: Pumba supposedly became an outcast because he smelled so bad, and he apparently still does because Timon often makes references to it. But neither Simba, Nala, nor any of the other animals meeting him for the first time react to his smell in any way. Of course they wouldn't make a big deal out of it if they're trying to be polite, but you'd think if he smelled that bad they'd have some reaction.

Correction: This is purely down to interpretation of how they 'should' act. The shots where you can clearly see the extras' faces show them being scared and panicked. As for them running away slowly: some will be slower than others. It stands to reason that not all of them will have superior athletic ability.
