Jurassic Park (1993)

Corrected entry: At the end after the raptors have chased the group into the main lobby, the hanging skeletons overhead start falling on the people. Watch as a huge bone falls practically on top of Tim. This is obviously a very staged shot, because his hands are not covering the back of his head, which is a natural, protective human instinct. His hands are just on the sides of his head. For a real reaction, notice Ellie's, which is (I think) right beforehand - she curls into a ball, and covers the back of her head.

Krista

Correction: He has very little time to react, and seems too scared to move. After all, he is just a child and has less knowledge of how to protect himself. At least, his reaction doesn't look as 'staged' as this suggests.

The Sixth Sense (1999)

Corrected entry: Why did Kyra (the dead girl) continue to eat the food that she knew her mother had poisoned? And since she had evidence of this while she was still alive, why did she wait until after she was dead to reveal it to anyone? One could argue that she didn't want to disobey her mother, or get her in trouble, but she told on her eventually, didn't she?

Krista

Correction: She continued to eat the food because she DIDN'T know that her mother poisoned it. The video tape was taping Kyra's puppet show and it was by pure coincidence that it taped her mother poisoning her food.

Corrected entry: Melanie's clothes get increasingly "countrified" the more time she spends in Alabama, but where did these frilly flowered blouses and cowboy boots come from? It seems unlikely that she would buy them (if she had we should have been allowed to witness it, as it would have been a major plot point,) and even more unlikely that she would have brought them with her.

Krista

Correction: Melanie (Reese) returns home to Alabama, and goes to her parent's house. It shows when she is cleaning her room before Candice Bergen arrives to visit her parents, that some of her personal stuff is still in her old room, ie: trophies and crowns and such, she obviously left behind a lot of clothes as well.

Corrected entry: After Frodo pulls the ring off for the last time, he falls off the stone ruins, and lands on his back. He then immediately jumps up, having no reaction to his fall. It seems like after falling a distance of about six feet and landing flat on his back, he'd need a minute to recover from the wind being knocked out of him, or hitting his head. (01:16:55)

Krista

Correction: He's a bit hesitant getting up, and panting, plus we've been told many times that Hobbits are sturdy creatures.

Gladiator (2000)

Corrected entry: When Maximus is in the arena with the tigers, the tigers have chains around their necks, and several men on the end of the chains to control how close the tigers get to the gladiators. But why don't the tigers just turn around and attack the men holding the chains? It seems unlikely that they'd know which humans to attack and which ones to leave alone.

Krista

Correction: The chains go through metal rings (which you can easily see) for exactly this reason - if the tiger wants to get close to the person holding the chain he has to drag against them pulling the chain. Only a loose chain would allow the tiger to run towards the leash holders by making it go slack.
