Continuity mistake: Just after the bank robbery, Doc Ock and Spider-Man are fighting on the side of the building. When some rocks fall down, there is a man (that looks like Stan Lee) pulling a girl away from falling debris. There is a red car to the right of the screen and a yellow taxi to the left, yet in the following shot from a different angle, there are a few more people in front of the red car, and no dust on the ground where the rocks hit the floor. Continuity mistake: Just after Sabertooth has dropped the Senator into the water, the mutated Senator pops out of the water. In the first shot, he is facing the boy, but in the next shot he has his back to the boy, then facing the boy again. Also, when he pops out the water he is only a few feet away from the boy's yellow boat, yet in another shot he is much farther from the boat. (00:41:30)

Continuity mistake: Close to the middle when Senator Kelly hangs over the edge of the cliff face, Magneto pulls away the metal bars and crosses his hands/fingers twice. (00:40:30)

Continuity mistake: On his last pizza delivery before he gets fired, when it first cuts to the receptionist and the room that she is in, the clock is very high up in this shot, above the receptionist's head, then in the following shot when the receptionist is looking in Peter's direction, the clock is much lower. Continuity mistake: When Lex is on her way to meet Weyland, Miller asks her to take a picture. When she first takes the camera, she puts her fingers on top, ready to take the picture, then she does it again. (00:06:25)

Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of the film when we see Peter waking up and reaching for his glasses, in the previous shot he didn't have the blanket on him or over his shoulders, it's in the background on the floor, yet when he reaches for his glasses the blanket is on his shoulders. Continuity mistake: When we see Logan enter the mansion and Rogue comes to greet him, Iceman is standing just behind Rogue, then the camera cuts to a front view, and Iceman is now shoulder to shoulder with Rogue, then it cuts to the back again, and he is back behind Rogue. (00:15:45)

Continuity mistake: When Spider-Man takes back his suit from Jameson's office, Jameson looks up at the skyline, and there are no steel or metal bars running over the skyline, yet when the camera zooms out with Jameson yelling "I want Spider-Man", metal bars have appeared over the skyline that were not there in the previous shot. Continuity mistake: When Peter starts to lose his powers, and tries to climb up the side of the building, in several shots, he is by a window, and he slips opposite the window, yet in the following shot he is a lot further above the window. His distance and position from the window changes in subsequent shots. (00:56:30)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film when we see Peter in Jameson's office, the black guy says, "Five minutes to deadline Jonah." Jameson raises his hand to him, but in the following shot it's a lot lower. Also, when he's talking about a food poisoning scare, he raises his hand high up to the right, yet in the following shot, it's far to the left of him. (00:07:45)

Continuity mistake: When the garbage man is in Jameson's office, and Jameson is holding the Spider-Man suit, he is holding it almost at arms length to his right, yet in the following shot, it's a lot closer to his body. (01:05:50)

Continuity mistake: Just after Monica has gotten back to Verone's house after warning Brian, she is sunbathing. In one shot, she has her legs slightly up and in the next they are flat with the sunbed. Also, when Verone throws her sunglasses on her chest, in this shot, she still has her hands on top of her head. In the following shot, her right hand is down picking up the sunglasses. (01:05:50)

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, we see the bus driving on the right side of the road. When the shot goes to the guy eating the doughnut, look outside the window and the bus is about 2 feet (if that) from the curb. Yet, when we see Peter in the rear view mirror, there are now a lot of cars parked at the curb that we didn't see in the previous shot. (00:03:35)

Continuity mistake: Close to the end of the film when the Green Goblin bursts in the window of Aunt May's house, in one shot you can see she is leaning by the side of the bed, and in all other shots she has her head on the bed. (01:27:05)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the film just before Norman Osborn's glider zooms in and kills Norman, Norman is standing right by the hole in the wall, yet when the glider hits him, he has moved quite some distance to his left and is now at a large part of the wall. (01:44:40)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the film when we see MJ hugging Peter, in one shot you can see she moves her hand to his neck and close to his ear, yet from the front view, her hand is still on his back. (01:47:20)

Continuity mistake: In the unity festival scene when the Green Goblin starts shooting at Spider-Man, he is about to run past the silver pushcart with an umbrella, yet when it cuts to a view from the Green Goblin, Spider-Man is quite some distance from that pushcart. (01:05:50)

Continuity mistake: When Peter runs out of school just after he beat up Flash, he runs into an alley and looks at his hand which is at waist level, then it cuts to a different view, his hand is now at neck level and one of his fingers is pointing up, then the shot after his hand is back to waist level and all fingers are straight and pointing down. Continuity mistake: When Tej and Suki get stopped, they both get out of the cars, and Tej's door remains open in one shot and is closed in the following shot. (01:23:25)

Continuity mistake: In the middle of the film when we see Peter, Harry and Norman Osborn talking, Norman says "Perhaps you could tell me who she is, this mystery girl Harry's been dating" If you watch Harry, in one shot he has both arms on the table and in the following shot, he is one arm up and is scratching his head.
