Continuity mistake: At the Unity Festival, when the Green Goblin flies past on the glider, the camera cuts to a shot of the balcony, and behind Harry and MJ there is a man in a black suit that takes a picture (you can see the flash from the camera). But when the camera cuts to a close up, the camera that was in his right hand has vanished and is now a glass of wine. (01:03:40)

Continuity mistake: When Peter is following MJ up the street, there are two cars and a jeep in the background. When Flash picks up MJ and speeds away, Peter runs from in front of the jeep, which was further down the street. Also there is now only one car in front of the jeep, instead of several. (00:19:10)

Continuity mistake: In the museum, when Flash is messing with MJ, MJ looks at Peter as he moves ahead of her, yet in the following shot they are shoulder to shoulder. (00:06:30)

Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of the film when we see Peter waking up and reaching for his glasses, in the previous shot he didn't have the blanket on him or over his shoulders, it's in the background on the floor, yet when he reaches for his glasses the blanket is on his shoulders. Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, we see the bus driving on the right side of the road. When the shot goes to the guy eating the doughnut, look outside the window and the bus is about 2 feet (if that) from the curb. Yet, when we see Peter in the rear view mirror, there are now a lot of cars parked at the curb that we didn't see in the previous shot. (00:03:35)

Continuity mistake: Close to the end of the film when the Green Goblin bursts in the window of Aunt May's house, in one shot you can see she is leaning by the side of the bed, and in all other shots she has her head on the bed. (01:27:05)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the film just before Norman Osborn's glider zooms in and kills Norman, Norman is standing right by the hole in the wall, yet when the glider hits him, he has moved quite some distance to his left and is now at a large part of the wall. (01:44:40)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the film when we see MJ hugging Peter, in one shot you can see she moves her hand to his neck and close to his ear, yet from the front view, her hand is still on his back. (01:47:20)

Continuity mistake: In the unity festival scene when the Green Goblin starts shooting at Spider-Man, he is about to run past the silver pushcart with an umbrella, yet when it cuts to a view from the Green Goblin, Spider-Man is quite some distance from that pushcart. (01:05:50)

Continuity mistake: When Peter runs out of school just after he beat up Flash, he runs into an alley and looks at his hand which is at waist level, then it cuts to a different view, his hand is now at neck level and one of his fingers is pointing up, then the shot after his hand is back to waist level and all fingers are straight and pointing down. Continuity mistake: In the middle of the film when we see Peter, Harry and Norman Osborn talking, Norman says "Perhaps you could tell me who she is, this mystery girl Harry's been dating" If you watch Harry, in one shot he has both arms on the table and in the following shot, he is one arm up and is scratching his head. Continuity mistake: When we see Norman Osborn testing out the formula with the other doctor, Norman comes back to life and grabs the other doctor, in the first shot from the front when he grabs him, his fingers and knuckles are straight against the doctors neck, yet from the back we see now its more of a fist. Continuity mistake: At the start of the Unity Festival scene just after we see Peter taking a picture, it cuts to Macy Gray, in the first shot she is not holding onto the mic stand, yet in the following shot she is. (01:02:00)

Continuity mistake: After the wrestling match when Peter goes to collect his money only to receive 100 bucks, he argues with the guy, if you watch, the guys hand is on the money bills, yet in the following shot, his right arm as well as his hand are on the desk. (00:40:00)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Spider-Man wakes up after being gassed by Green Goblin, when Green Goblin puts his hand on Spider-Man, it's in a different position on his face in the following shot. (01:13:50)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the film when we see Norman Osborn offer Peter his hand, if you watch he offers his hand twice. (01:44:20)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the film when Spider-Man is beating up the Green Goblin against a wall, Green Goblin reveals himself, and suddenly the distance from Spider-Man has changed from being really close as in face to face, to about 2 foot away. (01:43:25)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Spider-Man has saved MJ from the thugs, after they kiss she peels his mask back, note she is right next to his face, yet in the following shot she is much further away from his face. (01:18:20)

Continuity mistake: While Peter is talking to Mr Jameson in his office around the middle of the film, he picks up the phone and calls in one of his assistants. When he suddenly appears at the door he moves the phone away from his ear twice. (01:11:25)

Continuity mistake: When Peter is taking out the trash, and MJ walks out and says, "Were you listening to that?". Watch Peter as he turns around to look at MJ twice. (00:27:40)
