Die Another Day (2002)

Corrected entry: During the scene where Icarus is first set off, illuminating the palace enough that sunglasses are handy to use, notice that even though the light is very intense, neither Bond's nor Jinx's pupils shrink. (01:12:05)

Correction: If the cameraman had zoomed in a significant distance to show irrelevant pupil movement, you would've seen them shrinking, but i guess the director didn't want to show eye and eye movements during this scene.

Demolition Man (1993)

Corrected entry: When Sylvester Stallone is reprogrammed to knit, he takes a ball of yarn and winds it into a skein. This is the opposite of what a knitter does. They buy a skein of yarn and roll it into a ball so the yarn doesn't get tangled while knitting.

Correction: This is simply an amateur error, he is probably only just started to knit and we all know by now no one can get things right the first time. He is an amateur at knitting after all, this is not a movie mistake.

The-Immortal

He may have never actually knitted, but they are programmed while frozen to be experts. He ends up knitting a perfect sweater so he is obviously not a beginner. Not knowing exactly how all this reprogramming stuff works, it could be a mistake but it certainly seems that reprogramming makes the person an expert. Simon is reprogrammed with abilities that he executes perfectly without practice.

Ocean's Eleven (2001)

Corrected entry: When Virgil Malloy (Casey Affleck) is shown controlling the remote van carrying the bags of fliers, he is also shown in a SWAT uniform when they are in the vault. There is no way he could be in both places at the same time.

Correction: It is how the movie is set, showing various different character perspectives.

The-Immortal

Correction: He's not wearing a SWAT uniform, he's wearing his EMT uniform from when Saul collapsed.

The Core (2003)

Corrected entry: In the scene near the end where we see the ships looking for the Virgil in the ocean, the ships are close together in a nice, tight, circular formation. If they were on a search mission, shouldn't they have been spread out more?

Correction: It is known that the Virgil is near or around that spot were they are searching because of the whales swimming around the Virgil.

The-Immortal

The Core (2003)

Corrected entry: There should have been a significantly reduced force of gravity experienced in the ship when it approached the core because there would have been a large mass of the earth above the ship as well as below the ship, and both sides would be exerting gravitational pulls.

Correction: We can safely assume Braz significantly modified his ship to counter gravitational pulls as you are suggesting.

Speed (1994)

Corrected entry: At the end of the film, a tape loop is made of the camera inside the bus to trick the villain to think that everybody's still on board. With the video equipment shown, it is simply not possible to do a seamless loop in a flick of a second.

Correction: It is possible to do a tape looping because TV crews have that equipment in their trucks, and it wasn't in a "flick of a second"; Mac tells Jack "I only have a minute of tape", but it could've been a bit longer than a minute.

Frequency (2000)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the killer and the father fight by the dock, you can see graffiti in the background. The tag name "Ness" is a name that is seen often in the New York area today, not in 1969.

Correction: So you are saying or suggesting that the name "Ness" didn't exist in 1969, neither did spraying a name on a wall.

Daylight (1996)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the control room operators are looking through the tunnel security camera, you see a crack in the picture, apparently illustrating that the camera lens is damaged. The cracks are perfectly in focus, but a camera lens can't focus on itself, let alone focus on two different distances at the same time. If the lens were really cracked, all you'd see is a blurry and/or fragmented image.

Correction: It is not the camera lens that you see is cracked, but the glass on the outer casing of the CCTV that is cracked.

The-Immortal

Corrected entry: The landmines that both Owen Wilson and the Serbian soldier encounter are known as prom-1. These have a firing pin in them so when you step on them they go off. So when the soldier steps on it in the woods, it would have gone off instantly. Plus, they are a bouncing betty type mine, which means when they fire, they come up about three feet in the air and explode to take out your internal organs. This didn't happen in the factory scene, where you can see smoking holes.

Correction: The two scenes and mines are completely unrelated to each other both with completely different ways of taking out its intended target, and also we don't see the death of the soldier in the woods all we see is him stepping on it, he doesn't step off, the moment this would occur as you said it, the bomb would fly up approx 3 feet and explode.

The-Immortal

Corrected entry: It is extremely unlikely that the pilot would be left right out in the open to be found as he was. Burnett would have carried/helped him to cover and hidden the parachutes.

Correction: First of all they didn't expect any soldiers or anything to find them, that's why Burnett left his co-pilot where he was. Secondly the co-pilot was injured and knew that Burnett wouldn't be gone for long as he suggested just to go to the top of the hill, after that he could come back down and move him slowly to a different location for pickup/rescue.

The-Immortal

They would have expected the enemy soldiers to find them if they stayed where they were since they would know that if the enemy soldiers fired a missile at them, they would watch the missile (if such a chase could happen in real life) chase in case they managed to survive, and eject, and watch them parachute so they could track them to see where they landed to check to make sure they're dead.

Corrected entry: In the scene where the on-board camera is activated to photograph troop movements, there is a cut to a close-up of a rectangular green indicator light labeled 'REC' switching on. The function of this indicator is to show that the radar system is in receive-only mode (to avoid detection). It is completely unrelated to any surveillance system which may be installed.

Correction: That Label "REC", it could also stand for "Record or Recording", right ? As in the images of troops movements and the mass grave site are now on that Digital Disk from the recording.

Armageddon (1998)

Corrected entry: During the opening titles after the asteroid hits earth, the fireball spreads out around the world and the camera angle shifts across about 10% of the earth's surface, and suddenly the fireball has progressed almost completely around the entire world. It wouldn't have happened anywhere near this quickly, and its appearance would have changed as its intensity diminished. (00:00:55)

Bill McIntyre

Correction: We can safely assume that the director of the film did it this particular way to add drama to the opening sequence of the film and to add special effects so that the audience can see what once happened.

The Art of War (2000)

Corrected entry: The film is supposed to take place in New York City, but there are trains that say "Canada" on them. The film was shot in Canada.

Correction: The stickers on the trains could be advertising something for Canada for example tourism etc.

Speed (1994)

Corrected entry: A bus would never, ever be able to maintain a speed of 50 mph on the secondary streets of Los Angeles in the middle of the day, for any significant length of time, without smashing into hundreds of other cars (in which case, it would probably drop below 50 and explode anyway.)

Krista

Correction: It does smash into several cars at the beginning, but eventually gets a police escort allowing the bus to move more freely without endangering pedestrians and causing more damage to cars etc.

Vertical Limit (2000)

Corrected entry: When Peter cuts his father's rope, we see him hit the ground. When his body lands, it is quite intact. From falling from such a great distance, his body would have burst apart like a wet cement bag upon impact.

Correction: The director was probably going for a PG-13. If it were rated R you would've seen a body explode on impact, but the director just wanted dramatic effect and to make you feel sad for the characters.

The Peacemaker (1997)

Corrected entry: In the scene where George Clooney and Nicole Kidman are deactivating the bomb in the end, she says the bomb would explode but the church is made of concrete so it would contain all the radiation. But the radiation would have leaked out of the windows since it's not made of concrete.

Correction: The windows were shut and sealed, simple as that.

The Peacemaker (1997)

Corrected entry: There is a scene with TV news switched on, the woman in TV says, she is reporting from Sydney. Building in background is actually Law Facultee in Bratislava (Slovakia).

Correction: The woman who is reporting for CNN does not say she is in Sydney, she says "Reporting live from Sarajevo, this is Jean Rogers for CNN."

Armageddon (1998)

Corrected entry: The scene where one of the spaceships crashes on the asteroid and Ben Affleck and the Russian guy try to find "Bear" sparks from the electric wiring are flying everywhere. There is no oxygen in space to make sparks.

Correction: There is no oxygen in space to create an electrical fire you mean. Electric sparks are possible in space, it's just that they can't create a fire.

The Punisher (2004)

Corrected entry: In the car chase scene with Frank and Harry Heck, Frank hits an oncoming car and flips his own vehicle. In the shot where Frank's car is in the air and the rear of the car that he hit is visible, the ramp used to make the car flip can be seen by the other car. (01:06:20)

Correction: I have viewed this scene many times with slow motion and frame by frame and I cannot see any kind of ramp near or at the side of the car making the car flip over.
