Stuck On You (2003)

Corrected entry: In the operating room, Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear are in the opposite beds they should be after being separated. There isn't enough space in the room to have switched the positions of the beds, and in their present condition the twins couldn't have gotten up and switched places.

MARK CICCARELLO

Correction: Walt and Bob are only shown in the operating room before the separation. When the girls see them, they are in a recovery room. Plenty of time to move the beds down the hall and onto different sides.

What about Bob? (1991)

Corrected entry: In the beginning scene where Bill Murray is walking through the streets of Manhattan, he is wearing a coat however the movie takes place in late July. No one in New York would ever be wearing warm clothing during the summer.

Jeanne Perrotta

Correction: This is deliberate to show how anal, neurotic Bob is. He probably thinks the coat is protecting him from germs or something.

Ral0618

Corrected entry: In the restaurant in Paris, when Jack Nicholson approaches Diane Keaton's table, there is no chair located opposite from where Diane is sitting. Jack then approaches the table and after saying his pleasantries, sits down without his asking for a chair or anyone bringing one over to him.

Correction: The chair is pushed in very close to the table, and hard to see from the side view. Look closely - it's there.

Varsity Blues (1999)

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie Mox says he never played football again, but the game they just won was only a division game, there would still be a state championship game. (01:39:35)

Correction: Not a mistake. This could be a true statement: Mox skipped the state championship. I don't think high-school football rules state all players MUST play in the championship if they won the division.

Center Stage (2000)

Corrected entry: How did Eva learn Maureen's dance so fast? The exchange must have been decided the same day or late the night before and it was no easy dance. Even if she had paid attention at rehearsal it would be very hard to learn that kind of dance in one day.

Correction: Lead dancers always have understudies who know the dance as well as they do in case something happens. In this case, Maureen's understudy was Eva, so she would already know the dance in preparation.

Heathers (1988)

Corrected entry: When Veronica is at the college party and she is putting her hand near the match, she drops the match into the glass of beer and throws it out of the window. When she is sick later in the corridor and walks outside with Heather Chandler, the trash can is on fire, but there is no window above.

Correction: Only part of the wall is shown above the trash can, so the window is probably higher up, out of the shot.

Seinfeld (1990)

The Face Painter - S6-E23

Corrected entry: Puddy says he was raised in New Jersey, and has been a Devils fan "since I was a kid." The Devils didn't move to New Jersey from Colorado until 1982, when Puddy would have already been a young adult.

Correction: That doesn't mean he wasn't a fan while they were in Colorado. I know lots of kids who like other cities' teams; it doesn't matter where you grow up.

Ral0618

The Devils were known as the Colorado Rockies during their time in Denver, which only runs back to 1976 anyway. It would be extremely unlikely for Puddy to have been a fan of a team in Denver in the late 70s in New Jersey.

Seinfeld (1990)

The Label Maker - S6-E12

Corrected entry: In the episode where Jerry is going to the Superbowl, when he's going to sit down he says his seat is seat 4 and counts over to find his seat (and also to find Newman there). But the only empty seat in the row he's going down is the third seat. If his seat were the fourth, then Newman would have been sitting in his seat, so they both should be over one seat.

Correction: Not really a mistake. The tickets were a pair (seats 3 and 4), and Newman could have just been sitting in Jerry's seat, unsure who was taking the other ticket.

Identity (2003)

Corrected entry: Right after the convict Jake Busey and the supposed detective Ray Liotta kill the real cop, his dead body is shown in the trunk with his legs sticking out, but when both convicts are about to leave, Ray Liotta slams the trunk door shut without ever moving the cop's legs. (01:16:05)

Correction: There is a slight pause before Liotta closes the trunk, during which we can assume he's shoving the leg to fit into the trunk. Just because he's not looking down, doesn't mean he's not doing anything.

Gothika (2003)

Corrected entry: Halle Berry carefully gets into the pool so that the guards don't see the ripples. However, the guards come into the pool area a split second after she submerges, and the pool looks like glass. It would have taken several minutes for the water to completely settle again.

Correction: The guards enter from the opposite end of the pool, while the corner Miranda is in is shadowed. There isn't a clear view the of surface of the water until after the guards get closer. By then, the water would have "settled", since there weren't many ripples to begin with.

Gothika (2003)

Corrected entry: Halle Berry and her husband have been working at the hospital for several years - why does she not know that the doctor's daughter died?

Correction: It was never established how long either Miranda or her husband have worked in the hospital. Or how long the other doctor had been there. Perhaps he just started and did not divulge his personal life with Miranda or her husband?

Ral0618

Corrected entry: In the scene where Evan wakes up in Kayleigh's bed at the sorority house, he gets another nosebleed. Kayleigh tells him to go clean up, and as he's walking through the halls, you can hear some sorority sisters singing a little cheer. They say "C-H-I P-H-I B-E-T-A." It sounds like they are doing a sorority cheer, but the Greek letters they actually are cheering are those of Evan's fraternity, Chi Phi Beta (his letters can be seen on the green t-shirt he wears in later scenes). Isn't it a bit odd for the sorority girls to be saying a cheer for a fraternity?

Correction: Many soroities and fraternities are partnered up and do "team" activities. There's nothing usual about these girls singing a chant for their "brothers".

Ral0618

Corrected entry: Although it works well for the story, no couple can be married in the Catholic church without first going through the marriage preparation course, which last for four months. The Catholic church does not marry couples who are eloping on a whim.

Correction: My marriage preparation course was only one day, and was recommended by my priest. While this may be liberal for the timeframe of the movie, it is possible, especially if either party had a previous relationship with the priest. There are some priests who are more liberal than others.

What Women Want (2000)

Corrected entry: Toward the end of the movie, when Mel Gibson returns to Helen Hunt's apartment, the building is shown with two buzzers, instead of four like previously shown when she first took him there.

Correction: There are two different buzzers. One for her current apartment, and one for the new place. She tells Nick she can move into the new one in 2 weeks. Nick originally buzzes at the current one, since she technically still lives there.

Ral0618

Corrected entry: Riverbend Apartments in Atlanta, Ga. is located on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. However, in the party scene at Frank's apartment, an ocean and a beach can be seen in the background, not a river. (Atlanta, Ga. is about a 4 hour drive to either the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic)

Correction: A hazy shot of the city is seen in the background, not an ocean or beach. The only water shown is the apartment complex pool.

Ral0618

Corrected entry: When Tom is talking to Frank's mother and she offers the Sara Lee cake, the other officer keeps reaching for the fork and in the background you can see Tom holding papers. In the next shot, Tom grabs the fork and has no papers. After Tom gives the officer the fork, the papers are back. (01:09:00)

Correction: Hanratty (Tom Hanks) has the papers in his hand the entire time. They may not be as visible in different shots due to shadows.

Ral0618

Corrected entry: In the scene where Frank is talking to Brenda's father in Brenda's parents' home, he appears to be on the left side of the couch (as you face him on the screen), yet in the next shot, he is on the other end of the couch, and Brenda's father then sits next to him on the left. It would have made sense if Frank was shown moving over to make room, but instead, it's as if he was sitting at that end of the couch all along.

Correction: Frank initially sits more towards the middle (if not the right side) of the couch.

Friends (1994)

Correction: We're never shown a 360 degree view of the building. The balcony could be on the other side. And since Joey and Chandler's apartment didn't have one, the shot of the building could be of their side.

Ral0618

Corrected entry: When Michael is having the little meeting with Hyman Roth, they are talking secrets, so Roth turns up the volume on the TV. Some seconds later, the volume is on the same stage as before Roth turned it up. (01:00:50)

don_corleone

Correction: Roth's wife comes in and turns down the TV.

The One With Phoebe's Cookies - S7-E3

Corrected entry: When Jack, Monica's father, is telling Chandler about when he first met his wife's parents, he says that they still think he is a lawyer to this day, and that if Chandler sees Jack giving them legal advice he should play along. The problem is, at least one of them is dead, having passed away in The One Where Nana Dies Twice (in which episode there was no sign or mention of Nana's husband, or since, so I would guess he had already passed on). She was definitely Judy's mother, not his. (00:18:50)

pinkwafer

Correction: Jack makes mention of his 'in-laws', in conjunction with saying he told Judy's father he was a lawyer. The implication is that despite her parents now being dead, Judy's family as a whole still thinks he's a lawyer.
