Ella Enchanted (2004)

Corrected entry: The snake repeatedly changes size, first he's big enough to wrap around the kings sceptre, then he's small enough to fit in a small pack, then bigger than a giant's foot, etc.

Matthew Gem

Correction: The snake is obviously enchanted since it can talk, so it's entirely possible that it can change size given its needs at the time.

The Other Sister (1999)

Corrected entry: When the Tate girls overhear their parents' argument about sending Carla to a special school they are coming down the staircase. The camera cuts to the parents, and when it cuts back to the girls they are coming down the same steps again. (00:04:25)

NancyFelix

Correction: Neither the number of steps nor the girls' feet are shown, so it's possible they kept creeping down to the bottom, rather than a continuity shot on the same steps.

The Other Sister (1999)

Corrected entry: In the bridal processional, when Carla is coming down the aisle, her escort tells her to take her bouquet away from her face. She moves it, but in he next shot from another angle, the flowers are back where they were, then she moves them again. (01:40:35)

Correction: Carla and her escort are hidden behind a column in the church for a few steps, which leaves plenty of time for her to move the bouquet in front of her face a second time.

Cold Mountain (2003)

Corrected entry: Doesn't Ada seem to remain amazingly clean, groomed, and well manicured throughout the film?. The problem is, people in those times certainly didn't wash every day (as more realistically demonstrated by Ruby). Although Ada and her father were obviously a bit more well-off than others, and therefore would've probably cared much more about hygiene, even she couldn't have washed every day. Just look at her overall appearance during the film. Nice hair, nice nails etc., very unrealistic.

Correction: Not quite. Her hair is only neat and tidy before her father dies - after that it is consistently sloppy and tangled. When Ada eats dinner at Sally's, we can see her very dirty fingernails. And she may not have taken a full-body bath every day, but we can assume that she washed her face since she was raised in a more affluent manner than Ruby or Sally.

Ral0618

Corrected entry: Near the beginning of the movie there is an overhead shot of the trucks leaving the dock. At the end of this shot all the trucks are well away from the docks and almost out of the lot. The next shot from a different overhead perspective shows the last of the trucks still leaving the dock.

Wayne C.

Correction: There are docks on both sides. The first shot shows trucks leaving from the right side, and the overhead shows the left side trucks pulling away. You can see the tire marks in the snow.

Ral0618

Correction: Carrie just holds up the pink shoe to try it on in her size. We don't see her buy the pink ones, so it's reasonable to think that she changed her mind on the color before leaving the store.

View From The Top (2003)

Corrected entry: When Donna goes to the interview she says that 'legendary' John Whitney had been with Royalty Airlines for a very long time. Later, when Donna is retested, John says that the previous perfect test score was his own-seven years before. He only passed his basic training seven years before. (00:19:05 - 00:59:00)

Correction: It's possible that John Whitney has been with the company (in a different positions) for many years, but only recently (7 yrs prior) had he taken the exam for flight attendants.

Stuck On You (2003)

Corrected entry: When the boys are arriving at Bob's girlfriends apartment they open both car doors and exit through the passenger side, leaving the driver side door open, never closing it. When they get back in the car, the driver side door is now closed.

Correction: If you listen closely, you can hear that Walt gently shuts the door.

Stuck On You (2003)

Correction: It's not Ben Stiller. IMDb lists Otis Walter Albert, Elizardo Del Rio, and Robert F Smith as the "Outta Sight Singers".

Ral0618

Corrected entry: In the scene where Daphnie comes down the steps during her ball, she is wearing elbow length white gloves. She continues to wear these gloves throughout the ball, even after she is locked in a room by her evil step-mother-to-be. But when she walks into the ballroom with her mother - during the father-daughter dance - her gloves have magically disappeared, even though she was wearing them just "seconds" before.

Correction: She was locked in the room for more than a few seconds, and probably took them off in there to see if she could get a better grip on the door handle without them. There's enough time in between shots for her to have removed them.

Ral0618

Corrected entry: From the scene where Heddy takes Allie to the fancy salon, and Heddy freaks out Allie by getting her long brown hair cut short and dyed red to match Allie's. Allie gets a trim on her normal short cut, but just as she's finishing, Heddy comes out with her whole transformation - one that would take much longer than Allie's short trim did.

Correction: Not really a mistake since we don't know how busy the salon was, and it's very possible that Allie wasn't taken care of until much after Heddy, as shown.

Corrected entry: While watching television with her sister, Peggy Sue sneaks a drink of liquor and sets the bottle without the cap on, back down. When she comes back in the house after viewing her father's new Edsel, she picks up the bottle and has to take the cap off.

Correction: While she is drinking, there is a shot of the TV, and her sister calling her back to watch--enough time for her to put the cap back on, so it would be there to take off again.

The Ring (2002)

Corrected entry: The night Katie dies she & Becca are sitting in her bedroom. Katie tells Becca that she watched the tape that weekend and later on that night Katie dies due to the evil tape. People die one week after watching it, so it must be the following weekend, after she watched the tape, but the two girls are dressed in their school uniforms.

Correction: If Katie watched it on a Friday night, then it would make sense that she would still have her uniform on the following Friday night, after the school day.

Mean Girls (2004)

Corrected entry: The Burn Book is an awfully slim volume, considering it contains something nasty about nearly every girl in a good-sized school (one girl per page) and that, when Regina pastes her own picture in it, there are several blank pages at the end. (01:02:35)

Correction: It only contains "burns" about girls in their Junior class, not the entire school.

Bad Santa (2003)

Corrected entry: In Miami when Willie checks his answering machine a woman is leaving a message about car insurance, but it cuts out just before she can leave her number, it seems as if Willie was supposed to hit the next button on the machine but he was on the other side of the room.

MIke Newell

Correction: Some answering machines have time limits for messages. It was just coincidence that the woman got cut off before leaving her number.

13 Going On 30 (2004)

Corrected entry: When Jenna goes to Matt's apartment to meet him for their planned "celebration dinner," Matt's fiance, Wendy, opens the door and appears surprised to see her. Every other time Jenna went to Matt's place, he had to buzz her in even though she always lied about who she was. Wouldn't Wendy have had to buzz Jenna in also?

Correction: The first time Jenna goes to Matt's, the intercom system doesn't seem to be working. It's possible that Wendy buzzed in Jenna without knowing it was her, since the speaker didn't work.

Ocean's Eleven (2001)

Corrected entry: Two vans are being purchased at the used car dealership. When Basher blows the "pinch," the explosion blows the roof off a white van. Later, a white van is shown rigged for remote control (with a perfectly intact roof). Finally, at the end, viewers are clued in that the SWAT van is theirs as well. That makes three vans, not two.

Correction: The SWAT vehicle was not part of the "two vans" and could not have been purchased at the dealership with the other vans.

Mystic River (2003)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Sean and Whitey are walking and talking (just after Jimmy and Annabeth leave the hospital), Sean states that himself, Jimmy and Roy were childhood friends. He should have stated that himself, Jimmy and Dave were childhood friends.

Correction: Sean says..."myself, Jimmy and BOYLE were childhood friends", not ROY. Boyle is Dave's last name.

Miss Congeniality (2000)

Corrected entry: When Sandra Bullock first arrives at the pageant, there is a girl standing in the background. She is wearing the outfit that Gracie (Sandra Bullock) wears for the talent part of the pageant. Why do they have the same costume?

Correction: The girl is passing out brochures for the Miss USA events, and is actually working for the show. Gracie and Vic realize that she doesn't have a talent or a costume, so they borrow that outfit from a worker.

Thirteen (2003)

Corrected entry: In the scene when Tracy and Evie are getting high, the cut on Tracy's lip is on the right side of her face, but it changes back and forth form the left to the right side for the rest of the movie.

Correction: The cut only ever appears on her left side, except for shots of Tracey looking at herself in the mirror - only time you get a reversed view.
