Deadpool (2016)

Trivia: Because Ryan Reynolds' face is covered for most of the film, it gave them the opportunity to change some of his dialogue after filming. Reynolds would often think of funny lines, record them on his iPhone, send them to the editors, and if the line worked he'd then record it properly. He's said that some of the iPhone recordings were used directly.

Deadpool 2 (2018)

Trivia: As with the first film, Reynolds' face being covered meant if he thought of funnier lines after filming was wrapped it was comparatively easy to record new ones and replace the originals.

Knives Out (2019)

Trivia: At the end, Benoit Blanc says he noticed the blood on Marta's shoe the first time she stepped in front of him. Rewatching the sequence when they first meet, as he says "I've been doin' a little pokin'" he does indeed look down as he speaks and takes a fraction of a second pause, noticing the blood but continuing to talk as normal. The Batman (2022)

Video

Trivia: A point in the score from Tom Cruise's Jack Reacher, by Joe Kraemer, inspired The Batman's signature motif by Michael Giacchino. After the phone call between Jack and Helen when he warns her potentially not to trust her father, he's driving across a bridge and the music is almost identical to the "bom...bombom...bom" theme from this movie. Son of the Defender - S3-E18

Trivia: The footage of Denny Crane as a young man trying a case with his father comes from a TV play called "The Defender", broadcast live in 1957. The details of the case and trial are the same as referenced in this episode, and the title of this episode is a direct reference. One notable difference is that Joseph Gordon, here played by James Keane, was played by Steve McQueen in the original, who of course couldn't reprise his role.

Let Sales Ring - S1-E16

Trivia: Alan mentions networks even censoring their scripted shows - that's a pointed reference to the fact that ABC executives ordered any explicit references of Fox News to be removed from this episode.

Top Gun: Maverick (2022)

Trivia: "Darkstar" flies low over the ground and its wake tears the roof off a shack. The roof wasn't actually meant to come off, but it looked so good and fit the scene so well they used that take.

Die Hard (1988)

Trivia: The password cracked to enter the safe is Akagi / Red Castle, the name of an aircraft carrier which seemingly Takagi's grandfather served on. It fought in the Battle of Midway, under the command of Vice Admiral Nagumo. James Shigeta, who played Takagi in this film, also played Nagumo in the 1976 film Midway.

Hobbs & Shaw (2019)

Trivia: The mysterious processed voice of The Director is actually that of Ryan Reynolds, under his pseudonym of Champ Nightingale. Which doesn't necessarily mean his character is the primary antagonist. But might.
