Loki (2021)

The Variant - S1-E2

Trivia: Mobius says to Loki in 2050 "why is it always the people you can't trust telling you to trust them?" He himself said to Ravonna Renslayer earlier "I can handle him, trust me." Which might simply allude to him not being as confident as he sounds, or might imply Mobius isn't as trustworthy as we're being led to believe. Will leave this up if it ends up being foreshadowing, or delete it if it's entirely irrelevant.

Cougar Town (2009)

Lover's Touch - S3-E3

Trivia: Travis has an accident and has to wear a helmet for a few episodes. There's actually a real-world reason for that - the producers hated Dan Byrd's hair, but he didn't want to cut it, so they covered it up with a helmet.

Justice League (2017)

Trivia: After a family tragedy, coupled with studio executives' dissatisfaction with the production, Zack Snyder left the film and was replaced by Joss Whedon, who rewrote and re-shot large portions of the movie. After several years of fans demanding an "original" cut, HBO Max funded Zack Snyder's Justice League, restoring the director's original vision for the film, which garnered mostly positive reviews, being largely viewed as an improvement on Whedon's version.

WandaVision (2021)

All-New Halloween Spooktacular! - S1-E6

Trivia: Pietro makes various hellish references which tie into fan theories that what's going on in Wandavision is the work of a demon, quite possibly Mephisto: "Unleash hell, demon-spawn" and "damn it, if Westview New Jersey isn't charming as hell."

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Trivia: Panning around Diana's apartment, the camera briefly lingers on a photo of her with an elderly lady, with no elaboration of its significance. But look closely and you'll realise the woman in the photo is Etta from the first movie, again played by Lucy Davis, just made up to look 67 years older.

Definitely, Maybe (2008)

Trivia: The number Emily gives Will is 212-664-7665. Unlike the usual fake "555" number often used in movies, this is a real number that's also used in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and The Adjustment Bureau. Universal Studios acquired it precisely to save having to use a fake number in their films.

Walking Tall (2004)

Trivia: All the place names on the map are period-accurate (Lunden, etc.) with the exception of Guildford, in Wessex (now Surrey), which at the time was called Guldeford. Most likely deliberate - pioneering games company Bullfrog (Populous, Syndicate, Theme Park, Theme Hospital, Dungeon Keeper), was founded there in 1987, and a thriving games industry has sprung up in the area since. Ubisoft (maker of the Assassin's Creed games) has their UK HQ there, likewise Electronic Arts, and it's also the home of Criterion Games (makers of Burnout / Need for Speed), Hello Games (No Man's Sky), and Media Molecule (Little Big Planet).

Et in Arcadia Ego: Part 2 - S1-E10

Trivia: The ships that Riker arrives with are all identical, explained away with the line "I've got a fleet of them at my back." That line's delivered without seeing Riker's face, because it was recorded afterwards. The effects work was only completed shortly before the episode was released, and they didn't have time to create a variety of ships, leading to this "shortcut."

The Boys (2019)

What I Know - S2-E8

Trivia: The scene at the end of Homelander masturbating was originally intended for season one, but Amazon balked at including it at the time. Showrunner Eric Kripke said "There was one scene that Amazon said fuck no, you have to cut. I couldn't quite understand why considering everything else we have in the show, but: Homelander, after being dressed down by Stilwell in episode 2, was standing on one of the Chrysler building Eagles. He pulled his pants down and started jerking off, mumbling 'I can do whatever I want' over and over again until he climaxed all over New York City. We shot it! Oh my God, Anthony was the best in that scene. Amazon seemed to think it wasn't necessary. I thought it told me something about his psyche. To be clear, they've been great, that may have been the only fight I lost in Season 1."

The Boys (2019)

The Big Ride - S2-E1

Trivia: Hughie makes reference to a worst-case scenario of the super terrorist taking out the Brooklyn Bridge. In the comics The Seven horrendously mishandled the 9/11 attacks, resulting in the destruction of the Brooklyn Bridge.

The Nice Guys (2016)

Trivia: The line "he'll stop doing it" "stop doing what?" followed by violence was used almost identically in Iron Man 3, also written and directed by Shane Black.

Demolition Man (1993)

Trivia: The dress Sandra Bullock wears to the Taco Bell was very heavy due to all the stones on it - after her exuberance mimicking Stallone's punching after the scrap attack it started to rip, which is why she has her arms wrapped around herself slightly awkwardly at the very end of the scene.

Trivia: The Porgs on Luke's island only exist because the real island is the habitat of puffins, and filming couldn't interfere with them. It proved more appealing and frankly simpler to digitally alter the appearance of the puffins, rather than erasing them entirely.
