Continuity mistake: When Xenia is crushed to death in the crotch of a tree by her safety harness, her head is looking down. When Bond and Natalya look at the dead Xenia after the helicopter explosion, her head is now looking up. (01:40:00)
Revealing mistake: At the beginning when Bond is chasing the plane on the motorbike, in the last shot of Bond from behind before he goes over the cliff, the background shot of the mountains is a painting. Not only can you see the square sections on the wall, but some parts of the painting don't even match. (00:09:25)Gavin Jackson
Revealing mistake: When Bond takes Xenia off the hot coals and throws her onto the floor in the sauna, you can see that "Xenia" is a dummy. (01:03:40)
Other mistake: When Natalia is messaging Boris for the first time, the keys she is pressing are not what appears on screen. For example, watch closely and she hits 2 buttons at the same time which when you compare it to a keyboard is the letters "p" and ";" However, the ";" never appears on screen. (00:55:00)Ssiscool
Factual error: In the cemetery, Bond encounters Alex Trevelyan, whom he thought had been killed in the chemical plant explosion. One of Treyelvan's henchmen shoots Bond in the right side of his neck with a dart but in the very next scene, and for the remainder of the movie, Bond's neck shows no sign of having been punctured. Revealing mistake: During the shot where Bond and Alec are emerging from the hallway floor in the dam compound, watch the left wall. As Bond bumps against it after pulling out his pistol, it visibly flexes inwards and pops back out. A concrete wall capable of supporting the weight of a dam with industrial-grade pipes wouldn't flex in like that; it's quite a thin wooden set made up as such. (00:04:25)Alex Montenegro
Trivia: When Bond is playing baccarat with Xenia, his last hand, and only winning hand against her, is two face cards (a king and a queen if I remember correctly) and a six. In baccarat, face cards and tens are worth 0 and cards under ten are worth their number. So, his cards are, in order, 0-0-6, the code number of his lost friend, Alec Trevelyan (006).
