Corrected entry: When Jake drives off on his motorcycle after Tess (in Anna's body) erases Stacy Hinkhouse's answers on her honors qualifying exam, he is wearing a watch. In the coffee shop, his watch is gone. When he appears at the house of Blues he is wearing his watch again.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Dr. Tess Coleman is giving an interview about her book 'Through the Looking Glass', on the wall behind Tess and the interviewer there is a blown up picture of the book. A few shots later the picture changes to a photograph of Tess.
Correction: Interview shows on TV often change the picture the audience is looking at during the interview.
Corrected entry: The girls discover that the English teacher is picking on Anna because he was rejected by her mother when he was in high school. However, there is no apparent way that he would have known who her mother was. Her mother, when she attended the class in her daughter's body, hadn't met him since high school. Additionally, when making the speech at the party, the mother/daughter says they lost a good husband and father, so she would have had a different last name.
Correction: The husband/father died only 3 years ago and the mom hadn't yet remarried, so she would've had the same name. Also, teachers have access to school records so if the teacher noticed the last name, he could look it up and check the mother's name.
Corrected entry: Jamie Lee Curtis drives the Volvo into the bank parking lot going the wrong way (into the exit). The tires hit the steel teeth in the pavement, resulting in two flat tires and air bag deployment. In reality, this action would not cause the air bags to inflate.
Correction: She also hit the black car that was exiting the parking lot which caused the air bag to deploy.
Corrected entry: Early in the movie when Anna is leaving PE detention, she drops her bag, causing a bunch of books, pens, and pencils to fall out. As she is picking them up, you can see a black pen rolling on the ground behind her. However, when she is walking with Jake, the pen on the floor is gone, even though she never picked it up.
Correction: You actually can't see the pen because she is blocking it.
Corrected entry: When Anna and Tess (in each other's bodies) are talking on the stairs before getting dressed for the rehearsal dinner, you can see the end of a large black microphone drop into sight at the very top of the screen. About a second later, it's raised back up again, out of sight.
Correction: I watched every frame of them on the stairs (widescreen and fullscreen) and saw no boom mic.
Corrected entry: When Tess/Anna is on TV and it cuts back to the audience, at one point you can see a whole lot of equipment and a person holding a cue card. Normally in TV studios these wouldn't be visible on the actual show.
Correction: Though it is true that normally the production crew and/or studio equipment are not visible on TV talk shows, morning shows, etc., there are numerous occasions in reality where this was/is not the case, whether or not the show is taped or live on the air. Off the top of my head I remember this occurring on The Tonight Show, The Rosie O'Donnell Show and Live with Regis and Kelly.
Corrected entry: While at school, Anna turned her shirt inside out after seeing another girl wearing the same shirt (With her shirt inside out you see the stitching on her shirt where the logo is, inside out). But a few scenes later when Jake walks by, her shirt is on normally but has no logo on it.
Correction: Actually, once Anna turned the shirt inside out, it stayed like that for the rest of the day, until she gets home from school. And, furthermore, if one watches carefully, when Jake walks by, her shirt is CLEARLY still inside out, and the logo is still in plain view.
Corrected entry: In the shot where Tess is in Anna's body, at school she sees Stacy Hinchouse and decides to give her a hug. Stacy then hugs her pulling the back of Anna's shirt over Anna's head and shoves her,which then leads to Anna falling over a bike rack onto the ground. The next shot is a close up of Anna's face pulling her shirt back down in FRONT of her, not back over her head, like Stacy had done before.
Correction: Stacy pulls it behind "Anna" to trick her, so "Anna" pulls it back down in front of her (it doesn't make a difference).
Corrected entry: In and before the wedding rehearsal (before the audition) Anna's eyeshadow is vaguely grey. However, when they return, it is very little in the inner eye bit.
Correction: If you look closely, it is the same both times.
Corrected entry: When Tess (at the beginning of the movie) enters her office with Evin, you see her open her office door, closing it behind her. It then shows a shot of the office and she's closing the door again.
Correction: It is two seperate doors. The first door is the waiting/reception area, then her office.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Anna wants Jake to give her a ride on his bike after school, you can clearly see to camera equipment in Jake's bike helmet visor.
Corrected entry: Near the end of the movie, during the wedding reception, Tess is wearing the earring in her cartilage (that Anna had gotten while she was in Tess's body), but earlier in the movie Anna (Tess in Anna's body) had made Tess (Anna in Tess's body) take the earring out, the hole would have closed up by then since it had just been pierced the day before.
Correction: Not necessarily. People heal at different rates.
Corrected entry: When Anna's band plays at the House of Blues Jake watches them and he has a mustache. When he comes up onto the stage to see Anna when they are done playing, where is it?
Correction: Jake does not have a mustache throughout the entire House of Blues scene, it's probably the lighting that gives such an impression.
Corrected entry: Numerous times in the movie it shows the characters driving past the ocean, they specifically say they live in LA. The ocean is a good 2 hours from LA.
Correction: LA or LA county? Tess goes shopping down town Santa Monica. That's LA county and it's on the beach. They where driving on the PCH, which is consistent.
Corrected entry: When Tess firsts wakes up in Anna's body she's really confused about what happened and Harry comes to the room to tell say "mom's not waking up". Then she follows him into Tess's room, when she is about to enter Tess's room you can see the shadow of the camera man on the door.
Correction: The shadow belongs to Lindsay Lohan, her "brother's" shadow appears on the door as he enters the room and since it is her point of view, it is correct for her to shadow to appear as well.
Corrected entry: When Anna goes to close the door after she was disturbingly woke up by Harry, she runs out of the room and there are a few clothes on the floor by the foot of her bed, in the next shot she has more and different clothes on the floor by the bed.
Correction: She shuts the door so she can get dressed. She must have thrown more clothes on the floor of her room, trying to decide what to wear. The new clothes may have covered up the old clothes, or Anna could have shoved them under the bed.
Corrected entry: At the wedding rehearsal Anna (Tess) leaves for The House of Blues. Then Tess (Anna) leaves. Once they get there how does Jake get there before them?
Correction: When Tess is with Ryan questioning her friends about the "abuse" on Anna, they show Jake sneaking out from behind them. You just have to figure he went there before ANY of them.
Corrected entry: As we see in the scene when Anna [in Tess' body] is at the office, she says, "Whoa, she's blind." When she reads the piece of paper. Yet, when she reads the paper that Harry wrote, she does not have to adjust the paper so she can read it.
Correction: She doesn't have to adjust it because it is already at arms' length, she can see it.
She does adjust it, but for a split second. Watch closely.
Corrected entry: In the scene Where Anna comes into her room and sees her brother pounding sticks on her guitar, the guitar is in her room. After she is done chasing her brother around, she goes into the garage to play her guitar with the band, but the guitar is already in the garage.
Correction: Yes, that is strange. But they didn't show the part between when Anna fights with her brother. There was obviously time between the end of this scene and the scene in the garage because she tied underwear onto her brothers' head. She would have had time to get her guitar and go downstairs and start practice.
But wasn't she not carrying it? Or does she have two guitars?
Correction: There is a long period of time between these scenes.He could have easily taken the watch off.
