A teenage girl named Anna (Lindsay Lohan) Thinks her life is troubled. Her brother's a brat, her teacher is mean, and a girl at school is being a jerk. She tells her mom that she wishes she had her life. A chinese lady hears that so she hands them fortune cookies. Anna goes into a bathroom and opens her's and her mom open's her's. They get the same fortune, they will both switch. When they are done reading them, the earth shakes a bit. When they wake up, they are in each other's bodies. They need to go through each other's life and see how they are.
