Continuity mistake: When the real 'manager' comes outside to yell at "Mr. O'Donnell', you see the manager walk back into the club. If you look in the background of the next shot, you can see the manager walking through the door again.
Continuity mistake: When JB dreams about singing "Master Exploder" in the small bar, he points at one guy in the audience and literally blows his mind. When he starts pointing you can not only see JB's face, but also how his elbow is in a slight angle. In the next shot the camera shows the guy JB is pointing at and his elbow is completely stretched. The views change several times and the angle of his elbow changes after every cut, until the guy's brain is finally blown out.
Continuity mistake: Toward the end where the guitarist comes to talk to the kid at his house. He turns the chair around to sit in it backwards, but throws the shirt down onto the ground. When he sits down the shirt is back on the chair.
Audio problem: When Chris drives up in the truck while Selena is mowing the lawn, Selena asks what he got. While you hear "junk food" his mouth says something else.
Factual error: During the movie's opening credits, Sara is shown auditioning for Juilliard, which is misspelled as "Julliard" on a sign outside the room where the audition is occurring.
Continuity mistake: During the first scene set in a prison cell, as Martin Luxford (played by Hugo Speer) is about to be released, there is a glitter ball made from an orange covered in tin foil. It is rotating first one way and then the other, as it has been spun by hand. As the film action cuts between the two characters, the ball mysteriously changes direction without having slowed down and at one point appears stopped, having previously been rotating rather fast.
Continuity mistake: When they are running the obstacle course, the amount of hoops in front of the girls changes from five, to two, to five again.
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the movie, when Parker and Hunt are on the bus going to the contest, you'll see that Parker's hair is in waves. But when she arrives at the studio, her hair is VERY curly. Its not likely that she had time to change her hairstyle THAT drastically if she was pressed for time as she very clearly was.
Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie in the scene where Moose and Sophie kiss, Moose's hat keeps changing forward to backward from shot to shot.
Continuity mistake: In one scene when Cooper is choreographing the dance, his shirt is sweat-free. The next time you see him there's a big sweat stain on his shirt.
Continuity mistake: When the 3 girls drive up to Val, Mel and Josie at the bowling alley after the Pussycats gig, one of them puts a Coke can on the top of the car and you can clearly see there's no picture on it. In the next shot, you can see a picture of one of the guys from DuJour on it.
Continuity mistake: Eddie drives a 1957 Chevy convertible off the bridge. A scene showing the car being fished out of the water clearly has an older vehicle dangling from the line.
Audio problem: When Lizzie is performing at the end of the movie at the awards show, at the part where we see her from the back facing the blue light, her voice sounds like it's changing. It seems like it's someone much older singing, or the synthesizer went wrong. It just obviously isn't Lizzie's voice anymore.
Continuity mistake: There is a scene in the movie where the Beatles enter a limousine, I believe at the beginning of the movie. In this particular scene the Beatles are all dressed in suits and ties, but when the Beatles are filmed in the limo, John Lennon is wearing a turtle neck sweater beneath a blazer.
Continuity mistake: When Rabbit and his mom's boyfriend were kicking each other's ass inside the Smith's trailer, Rabbit pushes or punches the boyfriend from the kitchen to the living room, breaking a small wooden post in a quick shot. A few shots later, when Rabbit returns to the trailer, the wooden post is intact. There was no time to fix it.
Factual error: Near the beginning of the film, a scene opens with the subtitle 'New York'. Strange, these New Yorkers drive on the left.
