Factual error: George is paid an extra $15,000 to move out of the house in ten days and he his paid in $1,000 bills. Although $1,000 bills do exist, they are not used by private citizens. They are only used by large banks.

Suggested correction: When Walter tells the homeowner that the pool is well-kept, she lets out a groan that suggests that it's a flood.

I think it was because the lady who owned the house said her husband was deported out of the country because it turned out that during the war her husband was Hitler's pool boy, and she didn't know it. I would assume that he would keep a nice pool and since her husband was gone, she needed to sell the house.

Trivia: As noted in her memoir 'My Life with Bonnie and Clyde', upon seeing the movie, the real Blanche Barrow described the on screen Blanche saying, "That movie made me out like a screaming horse's ass."

Revealing mistake: It's obvious that when Clyde disassembles the car, the car has been pre-disassembled so Clyde would have an easy time taking it apart. Specifically the doors and trunk lid.
