Corrected entry: In the scene where Eddie is introducing Snots, the first shot has the dog perfectly clean, but when Eddie explains why that is his name, in the next shot he is covered with snot.

MattGrabowski

Correction: When the camera is on Eddie explaining his name, you can hear Snots sneeze thereby covering himself with snot.

Creepshow 2 (1987)

Correction: It was a shotgun blast so there would be multiple holes from the buck shot.

Cast Away (2000)

Corrected entry: Why is the package that Chuck never opens on a flight from the U.S. to the far east, if it's meant to be delivered to Texas?

Correction: It came from Texas. Chuck brought it back to the place of origin, not destination.

Corrected entry: When Johnny does the Big Red Rocket stunt for the first time, brightly coloured floats are visible in the scene. After the rocket explodes and the stunt is set up again, Johnny launches successfully, but this time the floats are missing.

Correction: Not a mistake since revealing issues and camera crews are often visible during Jackass in general.

Death Wish II (1982)

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the movie where Paul goes undercover as a doctor to kill Charles Wilson, one of the other doctors walks in right after Wilson's death. Kersey tells the doctor that Wilson had raped and murdered his daughter, to which the doctor replies that he read about it, and that he would give him 3 minutes before he rang the alarm. However, between the time Kersey hears this and gets up and starts walking to the time the doctor rings the alarm, it is under 50 seconds.

Correction: Character mistake not a movie mistake.

William Bergquist

Corrected entry: The film's unexpected success at the box office has been attributed, at least in part, to the free publicity generated by the plethora of gay-cowboy jokes on late-night TV.

Correction: Too common and obvious to be trivia.

William Bergquist

Corrected entry: A big deal is made about Marla's appearance but no one even mentions Doris' appearance.

Correction: Not a movie mistake.

The Invitations - S7-E24

Corrected entry: This mistake is in the episode where George and Susan pick out invitations for their wedding. Elaine comes into Jerry's apartment and says (to George) the wedding is only a month away. Earlier in the day George and Susan pick out their wedding invitations. Who sends out wedding invitations only a month before the wedding?

Correction: Apparently, they do.

The Fly (1986)

Corrected entry: Jeff Goldblum's part in this film actually ends in the shot where he starts dragging Veronica over to the telepods and knocks a lamp over. From there till the end the Brundlefly is done entirely with puppets.

Correction: Not really trivia.

Red Dawn (1984)

Corrected entry: Not one of the actual parachutist's names are mentioned in the credits.

Correction: Not trivia. Extras are rarely credited.

Heroes - S10-E18

Corrected entry: When Father Mulcahy is talking to the Champ on his deathbed, he is wearing Captain's bars on his shirt despite being a Lieutenant.

Correction: He was promoted to Captain in Season 8, Episode 13.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Mace Windu kills Jango Fett, his head falls off. In a later shot when his son looks at his head it is obvious that it is just a helmet.

Correction: This mistake has already been corrected once. If you watch very carefully or in slow motion, right when Windu cuts off his head, you can see TWO shadows on the ground fly by. One is his head, the other, his helmet.

William Bergquist

Corrected entry: At the dance scene when Trisha waves to Summer you can see Summer is wearing sandals with huge heels. This is only visible on the full-screen version. This seems out of character for Summer as you would expect her to wear dress shoes in her dance dress because she is the popular prissy girl of the school. Maybe she is wearing these to make her look taller for the film. You can't see her feet in the wide-screen version because they clip the bottom portion of the image when they made the wide-screen version. (00:49:30)

Correction: Summer's poor choice of shoes isn't a movie mistake.

Napoleon Dynamite (2004)

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie when Pedro is celebrating with his family that he got chosen as president, the cake displays the colors of the Mexican flag, but they made the cake red, white, green instead of green, white, red like it should be.

Correction: Character mistake not movie mistake.

Walk the Line (2005)

Corrected entry: During the scene late in the film where Johnny is looking through fan mail, the camera comes in close on several of the return addresses to show that they are mostly from inmates. One has a return address for "State Penn.(sic), Austin, TX 78756". The state penitentiary in Texas is located in Huntsville, 45 miles north of Houston, not in Austin. And the zip code provided is that of an incredibly exclusive neighborhood in Austin called West Lake Hills (home of Sandra Bullock and Michael Dell); not exactly the place even a fictional state prison would be located.

Correction: Not really a mistake since real addresses are rarily, if ever used.

The Truman Show (1998)

Corrected entry: Christophe has complete control of the weather in Truman's world - he even uses a storm to try to stop Truman sailing to the edge of the set. Truman is in an un-powered sailboat. It goes where the wind blows it, nowhere else. Why didn't Christophe simply have the wind blow him back to shore?

Correction: Character mistake, not movie mistake. In addition, sail boats sail in any direction. Using your logic, every sail boat always goes out to sea never to return.

October Sky (1999)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the scout is at the Hickam residence to recruit Jim on a football scholarship, the scout mentions he is from "The University of West Virginia." The official name of the university is "West Virginia University," and has never been called "The University of West Virginia."

Correction: Names like this are often changed for movie purposes or maybe they couldn't get permission to use the real name. In Johnny B. Goode, there were several ficticious college names.

The Birds (1963)

Corrected entry: Rod Taylor says he doesn't know how to keep the birds from flying down the chimney and into the house. How about closing the flue? I don't know of any bird that can get through 1/2" thick solid wrought iron.

Correction: Character mistake not a movie mistake.

Corrected entry: After it comes to light that Laura's leg is in a bad state, Sam and friends decide to risk going outside to the ship to find some first aid. A First Aid cabinet is visible during the scene where the library vending machine is smashed. Fair enough Sam and friends may not be aware of this being there, but there are two members of library staff who should know about this. No attempt to bring this to Sam's attention is made while he is creating his snow shoes.

Correction: Character mistake not movie mistake. Moreover, they needed penicillin which is a controlled antibiotic. Not found in generic first aid kits.
