Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Continuity mistake: After Obi-Wan is wounded during the lightsaber duel, in the shot where he falls to the floor, he can be seen falling near the ramp of Count Dooku's starship. But in the following wideshot (and in the rest of the scene), he's lying much further away from the ramp, and his lightsaber is lying further away from him as well. Also, the place where he lies changes between quite a few shots, even shots that follow directly after one other. This can be seen from the pattern on the floor. (02:01:20)

Continuity mistake: When Dooku is about to kill Obi-Wan, Anakin blocks the blow. In the next shot showing Obi-Wan, their light sabres are interlocked in a different position from the previous shot. (02:01:30)

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones mistake picture

Continuity mistake: Yoda drops his cane to fight Count Dooku. Then in the wide shots, the cane (CG animated) is no longer on the floor (anywhere), until Yoda conveniently needs it again and pulls it into his hand from nowhere. (02:02:25)

Plot hole: When Amidala and some of the clone troopers get blown out of the ship chasing Dooku, later the trooper approaches Amidala and asks about making their way back to the front lines, but Amidala says they should go to the hangar to help Obi-Wan and Anakin. How did she know about the hangar, having left the ship quite some time before it arrived at the final destination? (02:05:50)

Continuity mistake: When Anakin saves Obi-Wan from being killed by Dooku, Obi-Wan is lying on the floor right next to the other two. No one moves in the following quick close-up shots, but in the wide shot where Anakin and Dooku start dueling, Obi-Wan is nowhere to be seen. (02:06:35)

Audio problem: When Dooku is trying to bring down the ceiling on top of Yoda in the hangar scene, Yoda stops three rocks in midair with the force and then directs them to his left. One of these rocks hits the wall, breaks in two and also leaves a mark in the wall. Strangely that rock doesn't make any sound at all. (02:08:20)

Continuity mistake: When Anakin and Amidala are married, the leaves and branches above them changes between the second and the third shot. (02:09:20)

Continuity mistake: When Anakin and Padmé share their first kiss as husband and wife, in the first shot, they are standing in front of two trees and a bunch of roses. But in the rest of the wedding scene, there are no trees or roses behind the couple. (02:09:45)

Continuity mistake: In the wedding scene, there's a close-up of C-3PO and R2-D2. If you watch the background behind them, you can see that it is the same background seen in the shots of Anakin and Padmé, only reversed. This can be seen from the tree, the flowerpots and the mountain. (02:09:50)

Audio problem: When Anakin and Padme are talking after their meal together. When the camera is facing Anakin at one point he says "Believe me I wish that I could just wish away these feelings I have for you!" and then stops talking. When the camera switches to face Padme, if you watch closely, Anakin's mouth is still moving even though he isn't saying anything.

Continuity mistake: When Ani purposely jumps out of the speeder to catch Zam, in the same shot he does this, Obi-wan switches to the driver seat and you can see he has blue jeans on. All other shots show him wearing tannish pants.

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Anakin explains to Padmé that he must go home to find his mother, you can see in the bottom left corner that it is raining. They shot the scene on a rainy day, and then filtered out the rain on computers, but ILM forgot a few small spots.

Revealing mistake: When Obi Wan uses the Force to take the little crystal sphere from the map reader, the map reader disappears before it retracts into the floor again.

Continuity mistake: When Jango Fett releases Obi-Wan from his grappling hook you see a huge dent on his helmet. The dent changes between being there and not being there and in size.

Revealing mistake: In a couple of shots after Obi-Wan and Jango begin to slide down the platform, the waves in the ocean below them do not move at all. It is most obvious in the scene where Jango starts to slow down his fall.

Audio problem: After Anakin and Padmé watch Obi-Wan's message for help, Padmé says, "I'm going to help Obi-Wan," but the movement of her lips indicates that she's going to "save Obi-Wan".

Continuity mistake: Anakin's handcuffs keep coming off and then they're back on again; just look at his wrists when he gets on the bull and the shots when he's riding him, they go on and off a few times.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning where Padme and Anakin are about to leave Coruscant, Padme says, "Take good care of Dorme." Shortly after, one of her workers has a tear of worry. This tear disappears behind her nose and in the next shot the tear path is dry.

Continuity mistake: After Count Dooku cuts off Anakin's arm, the severed arm is nowhere to be seen on the floor, even though the area where it should have landed (including the area under the ramp of Dooku's starship) can be seen in several wide shots afterwards.

Count Dooku: What if I told you that the Republic was now under the control of a dark lord of the Sith?
Obi-Wan: No, that's not possible. The Jedi would sense it.
Count Dooku: The Dark Side has clouded their vision. Hundreds of senators are now under the influence of a Sith lord called Darth Sidious.

Question: When Anakin and Padme get married, Anakin is wearing an outfit that is often seen on Jedi and is displaying a Jedi Padawan's hair braid. Do he and Padme not care that the man who performs the wedding is seeing him (as Jedi are not supposed to have relationships and marry)? Why not disguise him? It's a huge risk to let even one person see a Jedi getting married.

Answer: Agolerga, who officiated the wedding, would have known who both people were, especially Padme. Remember they were also keeping the marriage secret because of Padme's position as Senator. Assuming Agolerga was aware a Jedi can't marry, he may simply not care or agree with the rule. Also, as a holy man of Naboo, Anakin and Padme may have trusted him with their secret.
