Continuity mistake: In the bar scene on Coruscant, when Anakin is tracking Zam Wessel through the bar, his Jedi braid changes sides - it is on the left side of his head in a shot where he is seen from behind. At all other times in the movie, the braid is on the right side of his head. (00:22:40)

Continuity mistake: When Obi-Wan begins to spin around as Zam Wessel tries to shoot him in the back, his drink is standing in front of a blue cup. But right before the next shot ends, it is standing on the right side of the cup. (00:22:45)

Continuity mistake: When Zam Wessel tries to shoot Obi-Wan in the back, there's a woman standing next to him on his left at the bar, but when he spins around and cuts off Zam's hand, the woman has suddenly disappeared. (00:22:45)

Continuity mistake: In the wideshot where Obi-Wan is about to bring Zam Wessel outside the nightclub, the man by the bar (Anthony Daniels, who plays C-3PO) is standing with his back towards them. In the next shot, he is facing them and no longer standing by the bar. The two women he was talking to have moved as well. (00:22:55)

Continuity mistake: When Anakin says, "Jedi business. Go back to your drinks." at the nightclub, he is standing next to the bar, but in the previous shot, he was several metres away from it. (00:22:55)

Continuity mistake: When Padme is packing to leave with Anakin for Naboo, she has a pink outfit in her hands, and she starts walking towards her suitcase. The shot changes and she is still walking, but the pink outfit has been replaced by a navy blue one. (00:29:06)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the scene where Anakin and Amidala are getting off the transport, they start to talk. The conversation goes on for a short time, and then the scene cuts to an angle where we can see the transport again. It is far to much away for the time they walked and talked. (00:30:55)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the scene where Anakin and Amidala are getting off the transport, R2-D2 is struggling down the stairs some way behind them. Their conversation flows continuously, but as soon as Anakin says "we've got R2 with us", R2-D2 is handily immediately behind them. (00:30:55)

Continuity mistake: During the sequence where Obi-wan goes to meet Yoda regarding the absence of Kamino from the Jedi Archives, look closely at the collection of children Yoda is training. While most are human, there is one that is alien, with a reptilian face of dark skin. He sure moves fast, because at first he is at the back in the centre of the group of trainees, in the next shot he is at the front of the group of trainees, and by the end of the scene, he is on the far left, yet we never see him, or any of the other children, move. (00:36:25)

Revealing mistake: When Anakin and Padme's shuttle arrives at Naboo it flies over a lake and lands on the other side next to some trees. Even though the trees are visibly reflected in the lake, at no time is the shuttle ever reflected on the lake when it passes over it and lands by the trees. Bizarrely though, its shadow is always visible. (00:38:35)

Other mistake: When Anakin & Senator Amidala arrive back on Naboo, shortly after there is an aerial shot of a landing platform of some sort, elaborately surrounded by water and a row of trees. Notice that the reflections in the water do not match the position and height of the trees. (00:38:35)

Other mistake: After getting off the airspeeder at Naboo Padme and Anakin walk down a long balcony. R2D2 behind them has a huge dent visible on his dome. How did that happen? Did he fall down the stairs at some point? (00:39:10)

Other mistake: When Obi-Wan first arrives on Kamino, someone else is sitting in his Jedi fighter. Wrong hair - you can even see a different face and different skin tone. (00:41:08)

Question: The lightsaber Anakin wields in this film is described as being his first lightsaber, so why does he say "Not again!" when it's destroyed in the Geonosis factory?

Chosen answer: Because he dropped it earlier while chasing Zam Wesell on Coruscant. Obi-Wan caught it that time and scolded him for losing it.
