Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Revealing mistake: When Amidala and Anakin are eating and he cuts her a piece of the fruit and "floats" it back to her, the bite appears in the fruit a split second before she actually eats it. [This appears to be fixed in rereleased versions]. (00:53:40)

Revealing mistake: When Padme and Anakin enter the droid production centre, there is a shot of them going through a large door. Though they both crouch slightly, Anakin's head passes through the door, revealing it to be CGI. (01:36:35)

Revealing mistake: When Anakin and Padme's shuttle arrives at Naboo it flies over a lake and lands on the other side next to some trees. Even though the trees are visibly reflected in the lake, at no time is the shuttle ever reflected on the lake when it passes over it and lands by the trees. Bizarrely though, its shadow is always visible. (00:38:35)

Revealing mistake: During the scene at the dinner table with Anakin and Padme, Anakin makes a piece of fruit fly around. He then has it land on a plate and cuts it with a fork and knife. It happens fast but you don't really even need slow motion or pause to see that the fruit doesn't react to Anakin sticking his fork or knife in it at all. The knife and fork just vanish into the fruit. (00:53:20)

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Anakin explains to Padmé that he must go home to find his mother, you can see in the bottom left corner that it is raining. They shot the scene on a rainy day, and then filtered out the rain on computers, but ILM forgot a few small spots.

Revealing mistake: When Obi Wan uses the Force to take the little crystal sphere from the map reader, the map reader disappears before it retracts into the floor again.

Revealing mistake: In a couple of shots after Obi-Wan and Jango begin to slide down the platform, the waves in the ocean below them do not move at all. It is most obvious in the scene where Jango starts to slow down his fall.

Revealing mistake: On Kamino, just before Prime Minister Lama Su show the young clones to Obi-Wan, the image has been reversed: watch Obi-Wan's clothes. (00:44:15)

Revealing mistake: When Obi-Wan is cut by Dooku's lightsaber and falls, you see one of the wounds (the one on his arm) glowing and then suddenly seem to shrink and disappear, though not totally. This is because it is computer generated and didn't match up exactly with the actor portraying Obi-Wan. Hard to catch, but it is there.

Revealing mistake: After R2-D2 begins to drag C-3PO's head across the arena, there's a shot of several Jedi fighting. A man wearing a dark brown tunic falls over dead, but if you watch closely, you can see that he was never actually hit by any laserbolt. (01:50:15)

Revealing mistake: In the fight scene between Obi-Wan and Jango Fett at Kamino, Obi-Wan is seen jumping and deflecting blaster shots as he approches Jango. Look closely, the first shot he swings to deflect never gets fired, and he is left swinging at nothing.

Revealing mistake: When Obi-Wan is talking to Jango and Boba in their "apartment", Obi-Wan pauses. He's not moving and you can see the back of his head. When Jango walks behind Obi-Wan on the screen, you can see Jango's "shadow" through Obi-Wan.

Revealing mistake: When Anakin is talking to Palpatine, the shot pans to the door, and it is obvious that the door and the furniture are painted. (00:26:15)

Revealing mistake: When Anakin and Dooku are crossing the hangar shortly after Anakin's green lightsaber was destroyed. Anakin slices a thick cable on the ground causing the lights to flicker. Even at normal speed, it is blatantly obvious he never actually hits the cable, and furthermore the pyrotechnic effect is slightly out of synch with Anakin's motion.

Revealing mistake: There's a shot showing Anakin from below after Obi-Wan says ""I hate it when he does that." Some vehicles appear out of nowhere in the sky as he goes down. (00:19:19)

Dr Wilson

Plot hole: When Amidala and some of the clone troopers get blown out of the ship chasing Dooku, later the trooper approaches Amidala and asks about making their way back to the front lines, but Amidala says they should go to the hangar to help Obi-Wan and Anakin. How did she know about the hangar, having left the ship quite some time before it arrived at the final destination? (02:05:50)

Obi-Wan: No, that's not possible. The Jedi would sense it.

Trivia: The first scene in which Obi-Wan and Anakin appear was filmed after principal photography had finished. Ewan McGregor had shaven off his beard, so he had to wear a fake one.

Question: The lightsaber Anakin wields in this film is described as being his first lightsaber, so why does he say "Not again!" when it's destroyed in the Geonosis factory?

JohnShel91

Chosen answer: Because he dropped it earlier while chasing Zam Wesell on Coruscant. Obi-Wan caught it that time and scolded him for losing it.
