Continuity mistake: When John and Sarah are in the pick-up truck trying to outrun the overturned liquid nitrogen tanker, the driver's door of the pick-up truck goes from swinging open, to closed, to open again between shots.
Continuity mistake: During the escape from Pescendaro, the Terminator shoots the T-1000's head and the T-1000's head splits apart. When this happens Doctor Silberman can be seen nervously in the background. The shot then cuts to the Terminator, John and Sarah and then the shot cuts back to the T-1000. However, when the shot cuts back to the T-1000, Doctor Silberman isn't there any more. (01:00:00)Casual Person
Revealing mistake: After the Terminator has jumped on to the truck and shot the T-1000 full of bullets he pulls the wheel to the right so that the tanker truck skids and falls but if you look closely you can see that the stunt double for the T-101 merely fakes he's pulling the wheel, and then holds onto the cab and you can see the stuntman for the T-1000 inside the cab turning the wheel before it flicks to the wider shot. Continuity mistake: During the truck scene, when the truck has just come off the bridge, notice the sign on the right hand side says "24 hours." Seconds later the sign seems to have mysteriously disappeared.
Other mistake: As the cop is walking towards the coffee machine, he steps on the T-1000 (disguised as the floor). The cop proceeds to the coffee machine and buys a coffee while the T-1000 turns into the cop. The T-1000 only touches his shoe, so shouldn't be able to copy his appearance. (00:51:00)oobs
Factual error: While escaping Pescadero, Sarah breaks Dr. Silberman's left arm with a baton as he reaches for the phone. Moments later, when Sarah is holding Dr. Silberman "hostage" by sticking the syringe of cleaner fluid, he opens the security doors (which are extremely heavy) with the same left arm. This would be virtually impossible and downright excruciating.Spencer Crouse
Continuity mistake: When Sarah Connor throws the keys to a male orderly to distract him, Dr. Silberman is standing right behind him. Two shots later, we see the doctor several feet away. The time lapse between the two shots was only one or two seconds. (00:56:25)
