Trivia: Eddie Furlong was warned, at the very beginning of the scene where he rides out of the mall and the T-1000 is chasing him, that Robert Patrick could run exceptionally well. Furlong confidently said that Patrick wouldn't catch him. However, on the very first take, Patrick ran right up and tapped him on the shoulder. So if this was real life, the human race would be in trouble.

Question: Does anyone know what game John Connor was playing in the arcade when the T-1000 found him?

Gavin Jackson

Chosen answer: He's initially playing Missile Command, then he goes to play After Burner.

Question: Something I've always wondered about T2 since I was a child, why does the T-1000 stick to the appearance of the first person that he killed throughout the whole movie? Any time he kills and takes the form of a person he always changes back to the first policeman he killed, why?

dan coakley..

Chosen answer: Robert Patrick is not actually the first guy he killed. That is his default form that he came back through time as. He does kill a cop moments after time travel and dons his uniform. That is what you see him revert to, clothing wise, presumably because appearing to be a police officer has more advantages than regular civilians.

Question: In the Ultimate Edition DVD, after the T-1000 has 'regrouped' after the liquid nitrogen death, his hands and feet take on the pattern of whatever he touches, for example to yellow and black stripes on the rail or the floor pattern. Why does happen and why was it left out of the movie? It's actually the reason John recognises the fake Sarah as an illusion.

Chosen answer: It's one of several things that were cut from the original theatrical release for time reasons; James Cameron likes longer movies than studios like to release. The constant morphing indicates that whatever computer mechanism controls the T-1000 has been damaged: it is no longer able to choose what it copies but copies everything it samples to some extent. From a critic's point of view, this isn't necessary for John to recognize his mother because it's more interesting and intuitive if he "just knows".
