Other mistake: At the start, it's nighttime when the unsub hides in the house of the soon-to-be victim who goes to sleep when her alarm clock reads 'Tue 11:06', and then we see the time morph to 'Tue 1:13' when the victim is sound asleep, before the unsub comes out of the closet to kill her. However, the time on the clock should actually read 'Wed 1:13'.Super Grover
Other mistake: When Michael climbs up the rope to get to the room below the infirmary, the rope is hanging from the manhole cover, but he still manages to lift the cover whilst hanging from it. In the next shot where he looks down the manhole, its clear that there is nothing other than the rope he could have held on to while lifting the cover. An impressive accomplishment, defying the laws of gravity. (00:38:00)
Other mistake: When the Doctor tells the Atraxi "Oh, you're not the first lot to have come here, there have been so many," one of the monsters shown from their scan of Earth is a group of Ood. Even if in one of their uprisings they attacked the Earth, it would have been in the far future. The Doctor has had no encounters with them on Earth, and he knows them to be peaceful, so why would they be amongst the aliens who have threatened the planet? The only Ood who has been to Earth at this point is Ood Sigma, and he didn't come to attack. In addition, a group of Hath is also shown. These aliens have never been seen on Earth at all. Other mistake: In the scene immediately after the opening credits, Jim is talking to Melinda on the phone. Right as he's hanging up, someone calls out "Dr. Clancy? Got a minute?", to which Jim waves in acknowledgement and starts up the stairs. (Jim's spirit has been in Sam Lucas' body since season 4 and in an earlier season 5 episode, his white coat is embroidered S. James Lucas, M.D). (00:09:15)
Other mistake: When Azula attacks the Western Air Temple, there is a close up shot of her when she says that she is about to become an only child. Pay attention to the smoke coming from the airship behind her, especially above her head: it doesn't move. Even if this was remotely possible, it does move when the camera zooms out, making it a mistake nonetheless.Friso94
Other mistake: Hodges and Angie find a piece of paper buried with Bones' mother and they tell Bones that the date of the movie is September 22,1993. The ticket has two dates, September 22,1993 and in two different places it says April 22,1993. The Fugitive was released August 6th,1993.
Other mistake: In the opening of this episode the screen reads "3:50pm On a Wednesday." When Gino (Frank's brother) is reading the letters meant for Shadynasty, he says "Meet me at the airport, Friday, at 5:00, Terminal C." The gang and Gina then go along to the airport that very afternoon - a Wednesday - to try and meet Shadynasty and get her and Frank back together. And of course she is there, despite it being a Wednesday, not a Friday.
Other mistake: In the two scenes that occur at Lucky's base in Iraq, it is quite obvious the writers did not do much research about the Army in Iraq now, or the Army in general. Alcohol is not allowed on any US base anywhere in the Middle East during the current conflict, and this is true for all branches of the military. Even if Lucky did manage to procure contraband alcohol, he would not drink it openly, because an MP would arrest him within minutes. If he appeared in his Sergeant's tent drunk, he would be arrested, and severely disciplined, probably demoted. No one on a US base would be known as a habitual drunk, because anyone found drunk more than once would be either sent back to the states for rehab, or dishonorably discharged. Also, in the US Army, Sergeants are never addressed as "Sir." This is one of the very first things a new recruit learns at Basic Training, and it is drilled into him. It is extraordinarily unlikely that a soldier would slip up and call a sergeant "Sir" once, let alone repeatedly, as Lucky's buddy does. After the first time, the Sergeant would correct him.
Other mistake: Laura is in the security control room of the plant, and finds a Master Lock Console screen; she sees it has Biometric Scan access and comments to Rich "It's not a retina scanner. It works on biometrics." She then brings up a photo ID of an employee on the monitor, lifts up the scanner and places it against the monitor, to get access. Firstly, retinal scans ARE biometric. She should have said "It's not an iris scanner," which requires a physical eyeball to scan. Secondly, no monitor from the 2005 period would be high-resolution enough to fool a biometric scanner.
