Factual error: When the archangels jump from the helicopter, the "bait" is looking behind him saying he can see the dragon. For a parajumper to look between his legs to view behind himself, he would de-arch and thus de-stabilise himself while travelling at that speed. It would send the jumper into a barrel-roll spin.
Factual error: When Ellen gets married in 1907 she is 20, but when she disappears in 1950 she is 70.
Factual error: After leaving Paul's apartment the first time Connie is shown running through Grand Central. She runs into a track tunnel, but the train's destination on the schedule board is displayed in blue, which indicates that the train is a Harlem line train (these headers are color-coded). However in the remainder of the film both Connie and Edward are shown getting off at a station next to the Hudson river which is served by the (of course) Hudson Line, which are displayed with green colored destinations on its schedule board. Long story short she's getting on the wrong train.
Factual error: When Julia goes to see her childhood psychologist, there is a fish in a bowl sitting next to the window. This would kill a fish within a day or two because of the heat being magnified by the window.
Factual error: After Jim escapes the house and makes his way back to the blockade there is a shot of him operating the siren. In the background is a sign saying that the M55 junction for Blackpool is in 1/3 mile. The M55 is nowhere near the M602, where the blockade is supposed to be. (01:30:20)

Factual error: In one quick shot Stu scans the surrounding buildings looking for the sniper's location. You can see the Grace Building from his point of view. You would not be able to see this building from his location at 53rd. street. The Grace Building is at 42nd & 6th.
Factual error: In the scene where Lucy Lui blows up Vancouver city police cars they are depicted as dark blue. Vancouver police are white and green.
Factual error: In the scene where Chris Rock and Anthony Hopkins are driving through the woods with the bomb, they crash head on into a tree. The car they are driving is quite obviously a new model, but the air bags don't deploy. They also crash again when they go over the bank at the end of the field, and again, the air bags don't deploy.
Factual error: The boardwalk is twice as wide as the real Long Beach boardwalk. The ramps on the real Long Beach boardwalk run parallel to the boardwalk. The movie's boardwalk ramps run perpendicular to the boardwalk.
Factual error: There is no way Ben would get his drug test results back the same day. High school athletes are also rarely even tested for drug use, this occurs mostly in Collegiate and Pro sports. Also, when athletes are tested, a witness of the same sex is always present. The urine is then sent to a lab for testing which can take at least a few days.
Factual error: The spiders shown in the movie have no adhesive pads like real spiders, but only sharp points on the tips of their legs. Given the mutation, this is possible, but without their gripping apparatus, they should not be able to climb up anything. (01:00:10)
Factual error: When the engine is shut down in the plane, the altimeter is shown spinning down wildly, indicating that the plane is diving at a speed of over 2000 feet per second, which is approximately 1200 miles per hour. Assuming that the plane wouldn't disintegrate at that speed (which it would), judging from the altitude at which the engine was cut, it would have taken less than 3 seconds for the plane to hit the ground.
Factual error: The train to London that everyone gets on is a French TGV. The TGV doesn't run through the Channel Tunnel, only the Eurostar trains do.
Factual error: After Joe spends sometime underwater in the bus, he goes into the village and pulls a picture of his wife out of his pocket to show the village people. After getting that wet, a picture will not be intact, and it would pretty much be stuck together.
Factual error: At the very start of the film the words "Vienna, Austria," appear on a black screen that then fades to a city skyline. The fault is that the city shown is Florence, Italy. Very obvious due to the Duomo, (Cathedral), the tower above the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio, (bridge).
Factual error: In the close up shot showing the record on the record player, the label correctly identifies the song that played as Benny Goodman's "Sing Sing Sing (With a Swing)" but the label also states it is a "Swing Classic," a classification only used when the record was later reissued. Factual error: With a significant portion of Marcy's legs either shaved off her body or in a state of severe rot, it's doubtful she would even be able to stand up properly, let alone run away from a mad dog. Factual error: In different scenes, with the mama Megalodon, the teeth shown are around the size of the people themselves. In actuality, the Megalodon's tooth is only a bit larger than the size of your hand.
Factual error: At the end of the movie, when Burke faces Sheldon, he tells him "one of the secrets about owning a gun: You have to cock it." But since Sheldon's weapon was a double-action revolver he doesn't have to cock it. He could just pull the trigger.
