Best horror movie trivia of all time
Trivia: In the film, the two transfer students are Kiriyama, the silent killer, and Kawada, the winner of a previous Battle Royale. In the original novel, only Kawada was the transfer student; Kiriyama was in the same class selected for this game of death. He was the main antagonist.

Trivia: On the DVD these interesting facts were told by the directors and writers: the character Adam is actually the co-writer of Saw. The Saw was only shot in 18 days and under 1,000,000 dollars, and it all took place in 2 warehouses and the writers/directors came up with the idea by wanting to make a movie that revolves around a single room and the people trapped inside.
Trivia: In the scene where Regan's mother is supernaturally blasted away from the bedside, she is being yanked by the crew by a length of rope. After dozens of takes director William Friedkin was still unhappy with the look of the shot and ordered the crew to haul her more fiercely. The scream in the shot that made the cut was of genuine pain and required no dubbing for effect.
Trivia: In the original cut of the film, the Grave Robber character was in more sequences, and directly interacted with Shilo more often. During editing, in order to get the film to a shorter running length, several of his scenes were cut, and he became more of a narrator in the film than a featured character.
Trivia: When Jigsaw and Eric escape the lair via a hidden elevator, the low-budget of the film prevented the construction of an actual working elevator. Thus, some tricky photography and editing was implemented. For the first shot where we see Jigsaw and Eric "going down", the scene was simply shot by raising the camera vertically to give the impression of them "going down" on an elevator. For the next wide shot, simple digital effects were added to make it appear that the room was "lowering." And for the final shot, where we see the top of the elevator going down an elevator shaft, stock footage from the film "Hollow Man" was used.
Trivia: In the scene where Alice finds Bill's body hanging on the back of the door to the generator room, the producers purposely did not tell Adrianne King what they were going to do to the body nor did they let her see the body beforehand. When she saw the body during filming it was for the first time. The scream she produced was genuine as it scared her badly. Needless to say, that entire scene was shot in one take.
