Trivia: When Delores is reassembling herself, you can see she is missing the ring finger of her left hand. If you recall, Beetlejuice had this same finger adorned with a ring in his pocket when he attempted to marry Lydia in the first film.
Trivia: When the Xenomorph lands over Kay, director Fede Alvarez asked for a bucket of cold water to be thrown at Isabela Merced to obtain a better scare face. Isabela says she was not informed earlier that they were going to throw cold water on her, so the face you see in that scene is her real face of fright trying to catch air because of how scared she was.
Trivia: Ray Liotta was meant to play the creepy producer Harvey, but tragically passed away shortly before production began.
Trivia: Bill SkarsgÄrd, who portrays Count Orlok, also famously portrayed the evil clown Pennywise in the two theatrical "It" movies. A rule he had for himself with those films was that he didn't want to frighten his co-stars or the crew, so he always went out of his way to be friendly and joke around with everyone between takes. He repeated that tradition here. Many crew members, including producer Chris Columbus, were initially terrified of him in his costume... until he started cracking jokes.
Trivia: Writer/Director Parker Finn has a cameo as the photographer during Skye's photo shoot.
Trivia: Near the beginning of the movie, as the SWAT vehicles are approaching, a billboard is visible in the background advertising the movie "The Watchers", which was directed by M. Night Shyamalan's daughter, Ishana.
Trivia: The first time Maika Monroe saw Nicolas Cage in make-up as Longlegs, her heart rate jumped up to over 170 bpm, around 100 above her resting heart rate.
Trivia: This movie is based on Cecilia arriving in Italy not knowing Italian, save for the most rudimentary greetings. The Italian dub, however, changes that. They make up that her mother was Italian and she grew up speaking the language with complete fluency. That creates a lot of nonsensical moments; people insult others to their face without the language barrier present in the original or repeat what another person just said (they were translating in the original). The whole ceremony was redubbed from being in Italian to being in Latin (explaining why she can't understand it). Also, the prioress randomly speaks French to Cecilia sometimes, claiming the convent was founded by a French nun and she likes the language.
