Deliberate mistake: When King Willie is confronted by the Predator in the alley the Predator approaches him cloaked stepping through the puddle of water. You can see his footsteps causing the water to splash up. However, you can see the water splash up and go through his foot. The Predator is only cloaked, not intangible so the water should have splashed upon his foot, not go through. Water against his foot would be visible too, even though he is cloaked. (00:47:45)
Deliberate mistake: When the truck is slamming numerous parked cars on a residential street, it sideswipes a parked Dodge Aspen (white with tan landau top). At the lower-right corner of this shot, a white Chevy Nova is parked at the corner (its vinyl top and trim has been poorly painted the same white as the body). Both these cars are repositioned to be at the roadblock location at the end of the chase, with the Nova slammed from behind by the truck and the Aspen parked near the cop cars. (00:07:00 - 00:07:40)
Deliberate mistake: After Wolverine arrives at 3 Mile Island he approaches through a thick fog. Above him are a series of conveyor belts that are used at a coal power plant, not a nuclear plant such as 3 Mile Island. The belts are unique to coal mines and coal power plants, and would not be found at a nuclear power plant. The filmmakers obviously couldn't film on the site of a nuclear plant, so filmed on a coal plant to fill in.
Deliberate mistake: Just before Danny enters the action movie, Jack Slater (Arnold) arrives at his 2nd cousin's house. Jack exits his car and jams his desert eagle pistol into his waistband. He then approaches the front door where he turns toward the camera to kick in the door. You can clearly see there is no gun in his waistband now. In the next shot he draws the gun from his waist. Deliberate mistake: When Randy is playing with Agent Rodriguez's gun (after first meeting him), when he accidentally fires it, you can tell the film inexplicably cuts forward a few frames into the same shot, as Randy's body suddenly shifts position and the gun is facing upwards, rather than at an angle as it was the frame before.
Deliberate mistake: On the roof of the sunken building, Bond tries CPR on Vesper, then quits when he realizes that she is dead and sits away from her body. Watch her right leg carefully when he returns to her body and cradles her in his arms - she flexes it upwards at the knee. Yes, I know that electrical impulses in a dead body can cause muscle movements, but this was obviously the actress involuntarily bracing herself from slipping on the slanted surface. Cut to Mr. White walking away with the money and when the camera returns to the roof, Vesper's leg is lying flat again. (02:18:00)
Deliberate mistake: When Red is shooting at Crews and Crews forces him off the road, the driver's front tire blows on Red's truck. You see it happen and see the blown tire again when he goes off-road. A few seconds later, Red drives away as if there is no problem. (00:58:05)
Deliberate mistake: At the end of the movie, where the girls chase stuntman Mike, they drive the upper dusty road. When their car is shown front outside angle, there's a lot of dust rising from the camera crew's car. But when the camera angle gets into their car and shoots strait ahead - the dust is all gone, the air is perfectly clear.
Deliberate mistake: The Stan Lee cameo contains a factual error; he's checking out of the Mallrats script and rehearses his lines, but despite coming out later in the year, the movie (and therefore Lee's cameo) had already been filmed, since movie shooting ended in April. Unless we have to assume Stan Lee carried with him all the time scripts of movies he'd been in and randomly read his scenes aloud. (00:30:45)
Deliberate mistake: During the space battle, one of Drax's men gets his back pack blasted. (1:46:37) His entire pack explodes so that his jet pack and life support are destroyed. But as a result of that blast, all the parts from his suit FALL DOWN! Even though there's no gravity.
Deliberate mistake: When Eric Kriegler shoots in the biathlon, the camera looks from behind the target, through the holes of the targets he has already hit. But in the next clip it can be seen that little flaps fall down and cover the holes when they are hit.
Deliberate mistake: While Hector is in the water with the crocodile, he yells to the female officer to start the helicopter by turning the key. It takes a lot more than just the key to start a Bell Jet Ranger helicopter. Fuel shutoff valve, throttle, key, and the main rotor doesn't start rotating until the throttle on the collective stick is turned to a specific position.
Deliberate mistake: Marian is wearing pantaloons, or knickers, in the rape scene. Knickers were not worn by women until Victorian times, and then they were split at the crotch.
Deliberate mistake: The shots of the prisoner skiff during the transport to the Sarlacc Pit are reversed. This can, for example, be seen as Chewie's bandolier is on the wrong side, and that Han's shirt is overlaying the wrong way.
Deliberate mistake: Rather than using real Bruce Lee footage only for the final fight scenes, so the undisguised Billy Lo's different appearance might make sense after his surgery, the filmmakers instead spliced real Bruce Lee face footage throughout the early film giving the character a constantly changing face from scene to scene.
Deliberate mistake: When the two Confederate and Union soldiers meet across the river and trade coffee/tobacco, you can see the other side of the bank behind them. It looks at least 50 feet away, yet before they were able to talk to each other without shouting. Also, the Union soldier raises the pipe to his mouth in his right hand, which switches to his left in the next shot. There is also a mist present at the beginning and end of the meeting, but not in the middle. (00:37:55)
Deliberate mistake: When Connors becomes a humongous Lizard, his robe magically grows from a Medium size to an XXL. (01:06:50 - 01:17:45)
Deliberate mistake: When Sonya finishes Mileena, Mileena's shoulders are muddy and she is face down, but when we have a close up of the dragon tattoo the right shoulder is cleaned off and what mud is left is dry. (00:42:25)
Deliberate mistake: After the scene where Snipes gets an ID on Jagger from the little girl, one of the officers calls to inform Busey, "A scar under his right eye", yet you can see him form the word "left". I guess "right" was dubbed in to save a re-shoot.
Deliberate mistake: The position of the head of Kim Jong Il's statue changes during the scene. (First time we see the statue in this movie, it's blinking and moving: it is a real person). (01:14:45)
