Other mistake: The chess pieces Tintin and General Alcazar use during their game are all white. There are never any black pieces at all. (00:29:15)

If you watch the idol as it closes, an animation error occurs where it vanishes from shot just before the bag finishes closing, revealing that the animators forgot to draw it in each individual frame. Other mistake: Tintin walks into Hector's apartment to give him his briefcase. An animation error occurs regarding his magnifying glass in the shot where Hector says "Just leave the mail on the table if you please." For the first few frames of shot, the circle around the edges of the magnifying glass is colored yellow. Then as he says the line, the edge of the magnifying glass suddenly flickers to black during the shot. (00:01:55)

Other mistake: Haddock becomes exhausted and sits down. Tintin points out he'll freeze. Watch the two horizontal strips along the middle of his jacket. They are yellow for a few frames, then they go to blue for a few frames. Then if you look super carefully, you'll see that the two straps vanish from shot for a quick frame. Then they reappear. Other mistake: When Haddock turns off the TV after watching the report, he pushes the middle of the screen which turns the TV off. Pushing the TV at this angle would make him touch the TV screen, not a button to turn it off. (00:04:45)

Other mistake: After Manolo has told Haddock that the windows don't open, Manolo goes to leave and slips on a banana placed in the doorway. The banana's position in the doorway would not be possible. The banana landed on the floor after Haddock fell over the table in the hotel room and spilled the contents of the fruit bowl all of the room and then Manolo entered the room a second later. When Manolo opened the door, he would have pushed anything in front of the door out of the way. (00:10:25)

Other mistake: When Pablo goes to turn up the music on the record player, his hand is moving around the volume control, but the volume control itself is never shown moving along with Pablo's hand. (00:12:45)

Other mistake: A monkey throws a bottle of whiskey from a tree which then lands on Haddock's head. When they show the bottle on Haddock's head, the bottle is shown stuck to his head, but there is nothing there actually making the bottle stick. (00:25:35)

Other mistake: When Haddock is in the lake, he is sinking, struggling to stay above the water and the water is even going up to his neck area. Tintin then goes into the lake to fetch Haddock and then stands in the exact same area where Haddock is up to his neck in the water, but the water only goes as far as Tintin's knees. (00:26:40)
Land of Black Gold: Part 2 - S2-E11
Other mistake: When Snowy discovers the blue robe, Tintin picks it up. As he kneels down, he is doing the motions of reaching for the ground and picking up the robe, but the robe is significantly further away than where he is reaching down for. (00:26:15)
Chosen answer: If Hector was seriously intent on removing King Ottokar's scepter from the glass cage holding it and launching it through the window with the camera, then Hector would have been forced to knock out the two guards so they would not have interfered with Hector's plan as soon as he removed the scepter from the glass. As for Hector, himself, was explained when Tintin was explaining how Hector stole the scepter. Tintin placed a twig inside the camera and it launched out of the camera. Hector would have placed the scepter inside of the camera, and would have been knocked unconscious due to the spring effect created when the scepter had been launched.
