Continuity mistake: When Yugi says, "I'm glad we're all together, guys," the following shot shows Yugi wearing the Millennium Puzzle. However, Yugi had given the puzzle to Joey earlier and should not be wearing it at this point. Then, in the following scene, Joey gives the Millennium Puzzle back to Yugi. (00:18:36)

Deliberate mistake: The timer only has a few minutes remaining at the start of the episode. But everything that happens in the episode lasts significantly longer than the amount of time shown on the timer. Even the final thirty seconds the players are given to escape goes on for way longer than thirty seconds.
