Factual error: From the middle of season 6 onwards, the show's setting moves from California to Texas. However, throughout season 7, there are many shots with mountains in the background, especially when the characters are in Austin or Dallas. There are no major mountain ranges anywhere near these cities. In fact, there are no major ranges in Texas east of the Pecos River, which is hundreds of miles away from where the characters are situated.
