The Night of the Bleak Island - S4-E21

Revealing mistake: Towards the end of this episode, West enters a small house. As the door opens, there is a small piece of furniture with drawers in the front and a red and white checker cloth on top. During the fight scene in this room, this chest of drawers is broken to reveal it is a prop that had the drawers painted on the front.

The Night of the Pistoleros - S4-E19

Continuity mistake: West's close-up before the final scene in the boxcar shows his hair to be brushed back from the right to left and his hair looks full. The next shot in the boxcar, West's hair is distinctly parted on the left and is more flat looking.

The Night of the Diva - S4-E20

Continuity mistake: In the first scene, the close-up of the train entering the town shows the number 22 and is not painted as West's train is. However, when West enters the box car from the town's train depot, it is his box car. Also, as West enters the boxcar, the backdrop of the outside is not of the train depot but looks more like solid brown paneling.

The Night of the Diva - S4-E20

Continuity mistake: The close-up of the stationary boxcar midway through this episode shows it amid dirt and brown low brush. When the young lady enters, one can see a very green tree immediately outside the door.

The Night of the Diva - S4-E20

Continuity mistake: In the next to the last scene of this show, West removes the mask of the fallen villain - this reveals a woman with long brown flowing hair. However, in all the shots before, this villain had a short haircut.

The Night of the Pistoleros - S4-E19

Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the first half of this show, the colonel and West are having a drink inside. Both men's clothes are spotless as they walk to the door to go outside. Once they go through the door, the colonel's jacket is noticeably dirty, especially on its right side. When West turns around from seeing Sgt. Tobin's body, the seat of West's pants is also quite dirty with a small tear in the middle of the seat of his pants. When West walks towards his horse to leave, the seat of his pants is spotless and the rip is gone.

The Night of the Winged Terror: Part 1 - S4-E15

Continuity mistake: Towards the end of this episode after the piñatas have exploded, West and Harper sit down to talk. Behind West to the left of the screen, only one blue and white piñata is hanging. The next shot of the two men talking shows three different piñatas hanging behind them.

The Night of the Spanish Curse - S4-E14

Continuity mistake: The last shot before the opening credits, West is knocked out face down with his head resting on this right hand which is on top of his left hand. The very next shot shows West's head resting on his right arm and his left arm is folded underneath his chest.

The Night of Miguelito's Revenge - S4-E12

Continuity mistake: In the scene before the third freeze frame, a large coffin-like rectangular object slides into the water. West is inside this structure. All sides are completely flat. We see the object under water sinking. This one is much shorter, has an oval window, and the side is not completely flat when compared to the one that enters the water. After the freeze frame, West is sitting up with his legs completely extended. The dimensions of this under water container would have to have height and width much longer than the other two containers that have been shown.

The Night of the Egyptian Queen - S4-E8

Continuity mistake: The first shot of West's eyes, after the opening credits, shows them to be a bit different than usual - as if they had an allergic reaction to something. The second, third, and fourth shots show the eyes back to normal, but the shot of him walking the princess to the door shows a very puffy faced West. After walking her to the door when he turns around, West is back to looking like his typical self for the rest of this episode.

The Night of the Gruesome Games - S4-E5

Revealing mistake: Midway in this episode, West is fighting two men in a bedroom. One of them is pushed into the green chest of drawers and breaks it. It is obviously a prop, because the front is a flat piece of painted wood to look like drawers; there are no drawers when this piece falls apart.

The Night of the Juggernaut - S4-E3

Continuity mistake: In the last scene right before West walks into the boxcar, the front of the train shows the number 16, and the square area around the front light is grey with swirl designs above and below the light. At the end of this scene, the last shot is of the front of the train, and it is showing the number 8 with the square area around the front light is red.

The Night of the Big Blackmail - S4-E1

Continuity mistake: Before and after the first freeze frame, West's hair is combed from the right side to left. During the next scene when West's hat comes off during the fight, his hair is combed from the left side. In the next scene in the boxcar, his hair is back to being combed from the right. In the last scene of this episode when West is in the boxcar, he has a completely different hair cut. It is much shorter than in the previous scene, very flat looking, and is parted on the left. This last shot makes Mr. West appear to have a receding hairline.

The Night of the Infernal Machine - S2-E14

Trivia: West collides with the cook and sends him sprawling face-down in a huge platter of gelatin. Before racing off again, West quips, "Sorry about that, chef!" This was a winking homage to the 60s spy comedy Get Smart and its bumbling hero Maxwell Smart's famous catch-phrase, "Sorry about that, Chief!" (00:47:30)
