The Night of the Watery Death - S2-E9

Other mistake: After West escapes out of the room where he was tied, he is hiding behind a tall plant by the staircase. There is a person dressed in black lying at the top of stairs who ever so slightly moves. After the fight scene, West attempts to leave from the front door where he is met by the Marquis. When West is backing up into the room, as the Marquis says, "Boys!", one of them is now descending down from the top of stairs - no one is lying on the steps or getting up from steps. (00:31:15)

The Night of the Watery Death - S2-E9

Continuity mistake: When West is untied from the pillar, a close-up shot of his foot shows him stepping on the wooden plank that activates the force field. The next shot shows him walking on the plank, but the force field was activated before he steps on it (from a wide angle shot). (00:38:50)

The Night of the Watery Death - S2-E9

Continuity mistake: Halfway through this episode, West's hands are tied to the bedpost. He frees a hidden knife from his lower right sleeve. The close-up of his right wrist shows two rope strands binding him. When West finally gets the knife in the position to cut the rope, only one rope strand is wrapped around his wrist.

The Night of the Green Terror - S2-E10

The Night of the Ready-Made Corpse - S2-E11

Revealing mistake: The town of Wickenberg has very peculiar sunlight: it casts shadows in several directions at once. Also notable is the far end of its main street, where a distinct line of demarcation reveals the presence of a painted studio backdrop. (00:00:10)

Continuity mistake: In pursuit of the photographer, West jumps out of the window and lands on a cart of stuffed burlap sacks. The Night of the Man-Eating House - S2-E12

Continuity mistake: West tosses a small grenade at the French doors. We see it hit and explode without breaking a single pane or crosspiece. It just makes smoke and blackens the surface. After a shot of West and Gordon, we cut back to the door and it's now a broken ruin with no glass and the wood framing destroyed. Delayed action bomb? (00:13:00)

The Night of the Man-Eating House - S2-E12

Continuity mistake: West and Gordon drag Day from the haunted house, prop him on the porch and turn away. When they turn back, they're stunned to see that he's aged 30 years. But if you look closely, you can see that the man they prop on the porch is already gray-bearded and shaggy. So why were they surprised? (00:44:30)

The Night of the Skulls - S2-E13

Character mistake: There are seven mourners dressed in black surrounding Gordon's casket - three on each side and one by the funeral officiator (who is the disguised Gordon). Later in the scene when West is talking to the disguised Gordon, Gordon says, "How do you like that - six mourners..." (00:05:20 - 00:07:10)

The Night of the Skulls - S2-E13

The Night of the Skulls - S2-E13

Factual error: Fenlow begins shouting about "one nation, under God, indivisible." This series is set in the 1870s. The Pledge of Allegiance, from which these lines are taken, wasn't written until 1892. And the words "under God" weren't added until 1954. (00:46:55)
