Visible crew/equipment: When Hotchner, Callahan, JJ, and Rossi surround Frank's car on the private property, just after Callahan sees the leg on the seat, when she opens the passenger side door the reflection of the standing male cameraman/crew member is visible on the surface of the car, between the windows.
Other mistake: The age of the deceased Raymond Leu (35) shown in a death certificate doesn't match up based on year of birth (1948) and year of death (2014).
Continuity mistake: The original plane is a 747, (four engines on the wings, two aisles). The plane that Reid gets the plans for is a 727 tri-jet (three engines on the tail and one aisle, not wide body). The plane in the walk through by Reid is a wide body of some sort, but not a 747 (two aisles with three seats in the middle).
Continuity mistake: At the start of the episode, when the first victim is found, she is unidentified. However, before Garcia finds out the victim's name is Sarah Rhodes, we already see a label with the name Sarah Rhodes written on it. (00:07:03)
Revealing mistake: When Morgan is typing "Cult named Forever People," his phone is typing it automatically. His fingers aren't even tapping the correct letters. (00:19:45)
Other mistake: When Hotch, Morgan and JJ review the footage from the first murder, they are able to zoom extremely close on the victim's hand. Why don't they do the same with the car license plate as the killer leaves? (00:21:45)
Factual error: The flashback shown is from 1978, when Virginia license plates had six characters, however the license plate shown on the car is the current version with seven characters. (00:37:00)
Factual error: Rossi recognizes a "typical Dutch gesture" The suspect hits his forehead with his hand and then moves it towards another person, saying that the person is "crazy" This gesture is German. In the Netherlands we use a different gesture. We point to our forehead with our index finger and then point at the person we think is crazy, with that same finger.

Continuity mistake: When JJ picks up Lizette Castro in her car to take her to her son, JJ gets Lizette to confess about the man in the pictures. We see JJ stop the car outside In the Dark by some trees before a flashback plays. After the flashback, it looks like the car is in some sort of parking house. (00:14:16 - 00:15:16)

Continuity mistake: The old lady victim under the bridge has a change in clothes. When the shooting happens she is wearing a red jumper and what looks like flowery red top, when the team arrives at the crime scene she is wearing a grey jumper and a white polka dot top. (00:15:54 - 00:26:30)
Suggested correction: The change of clothes happens in every crime scene/flashback to show us the killer's delusion. If you pay attention, it happens with the girl whose boyfriend gets killed and also with the cop/mailman.

Continuity mistake: In the final stand off, Daniel fires 16 rounds through the door/wall at the team. We've already been told his gun only holds 14 bullets. Not to mention without reloading he fires a few more bullets shortly afterwards.
