Other mistake: Buddy's dog is also the same dog for everyone else. They are all German Shepherds. Except for Millie and Jerry's dog we have never seen him/her ever. Yet they say that they have a dog too.
The Ghost of A. Chantz - S4-E3
Continuity mistake: When Rob and Buddy are talking after arriving at the cabin and discussing the lack of wood that should be there for 3 years, a white birch like log on the very top of the pile inside the fireplace. The camera cuts to Buddy saying something about the ghost burning it, and when the camera cuts back to Rob the white birch like log is missing from the fireplace. Then when we see Rob making the pull out bed the log reappears back on top of the wood pile in the fireplace.
Continuity mistake: Rob is in the garage on his motorcycle. We notice the door to the garage leads out to the back/side yard towards the house, but in "Long Night's Journey into Day" the door to the garage is connected to the house from the kitchen.
A Vigilante Ripped My Sports Coat - S4-E5
Continuity mistake: Right before Rob starts the story to Sally and Buddy about how Jerry ripped Rob's sports coat, the box is on the floor. When we cut back to Rob, Buddy and Sally later on. The box isn't even in the room anymore. Then later on when Mel comes to pick up the box, it's back on the floor again.
Other mistake: Rob's watch is completely blank. No numbers, no hands or the knob to adjust time. His watch is fake. (It may be that way in all the episodes but this is the first time I noticed it so far).
Continuity mistake: When we first see Richie at the beginning of the episode he has extremely dark "bruises" all over his hands, arms and face. But by the end of this episode all the bruises are gone except for 1 which is on his face below his left eye (on our right). Bruises do not just vanish in 2 or 3 days if they are that bad.
Continuity mistake: In this episode we do not see a garage door. Yet in the "Long Night's Journey into Day" episode the garage door would have been right where all the tools and junk were on Rob's right (close to where Richie was standing talking to Rob).
Character mistake: Rob tells the people that are about to get on the elevator "my wife is expecting a baby!" In all the other episodes where "she's expecting a baby" as well... No change in stomach size at all! Not a single sign of pregnancy... (After 12-16 weeks it starts to show that the baby is there.) Even before Richie was born, still flat as a pancake.
Revealing mistake: If Rob and Laura actually did dye their hands not only would their hands be black but so would their wedding rings. Also, while Laura is "using water" on her hands you can tell she wasn't using water or soap because her hands aren't wet and there isn't any soap to be seen at all... You only see the dish rag. (Same for when Rob does the same thing later on). (00:06:07)
Other mistake: After Lyle gives back Rob and Laura's watch's and the $51, Rob doesn't get his ring back.
Other mistake: Rob mentions Buzzy Potter to Sally and Buddy as if they knew him. Rob and Laura did the Army stuff way before working on the Alan Brady show. Also, there was no mention of Buzzy Potter anywhere else in the series. There for Sally and Buddy wouldn't have known Buzzy, but Millie would have known him.
Other mistake: The record that is to Rob's right (our left) isn't spinning while the base part under it is, until Rob puts the ceramic coffee cup on the record. Notice that ceramic coffee cup is also the same coffee cup that Rob threw away in the episode "Your Home Sweet Is My Home"
Suggested correction: So you are claiming that they somehow rigged the turntable so it would spin without spinning the record until he put the cup down on it. For what reason? No only does this error defy common sense, it is obviously wrong if you watch the episode. The record is spinning. You can see the variations in the highlights on the surface as it does so. Also, it is not a ceramic cup, it is a paper cup, complete with a folding paper handle. And it in no way resembles any cup used in "Your Home Sweet Home is My Home."
I did great! I forgot which episode I saw the same cup in.
Three Letters from One Wife - S4-E10
Factual error: Millie mails 14 letters to Alan Brady with names of dead relatives, and to give them different postmarks she says that she drove all over Westchester and southern Connecticut to mail them. The next day, all 14 have arrived. Mail crossing a state line would not likely have made it overnight.
