Continuity mistake: Watch Gabrielle's arms when she points her staff at the little girl when she sneaks into the hut. When the shot is from the front, her back arm is up and over the staff. When seen from behind, her arm is much lower, and under the staff.
Revealing mistake: In the beginning battle scene, the long shots of Amarice are a stunt double, her face is shown quite a bit. (00:04:35)
Continuity mistake: Gabrielle is in the temple, she is standing behind the monkey guy. In a single frame, she moves from standing still looking forward with her staff next to her, to her standing with her head tilted leaning on the staff. (00:19:00)
Revealing mistake: As Xena watches the dead being put into the wagon, one body is rolled over. You see the man move his arm quickly to shield his fall. (00:25:25)
Revealing mistake: When Xena throws the chahkram at the tree limb, the limb is visibly cut before the digital chahkram slices through it. (00:13:00)
Revealing mistake: When Brutus is capturing Gabrielle, the metal plates on his helmet move, and appear very flimsy. They hardly look strong enough to protect him as a helmet should. (00:13:45)
Other mistake: Xena travels to the land of the Norse gods in 'The Rhinegold', 'The Ring', 'The Return of the Valkyrie.' Brunhilda says that Xena came from a distant land in the east, meaning that she travelled from Chin or Japa (most likely), not Greece. When would she have done this, and why is Borias not with her, etc.?
Continuity mistake: A man is sitting to the right of Gabby and hands her an apple, she hands it to Eli on her left. When the shot goes wide, the closest person to Gabby's right is quite far away. (00:12:10)
Continuity mistake: When Gabby hugs Eli, his hands are on her face, and her hands are around his wrists. When the camera changes to an angle behind Gabby, her hands are flat on his in an instant. (00:11:30)
Continuity mistake: As Amarice falls out of the tree, she is seen falling on her back with her feet in the air. She lands on her feet then falls on her back. (00:13:05)
Other mistake: In Season 5 the majority of the gods are trying to kill Xena, Eve and Gabrielle. However, what happened to the gods that didn't intervene, like Demeter, Hestia or Cupid? We don't hear about them again, but they weren't killed, so what happened?
Continuity mistake: As Gabby and Eli talk, they hold hands in front of his chest, when the camera changes his right hand is on her face. He then moves his hand off her face, to her shoulder, the camera cuts and they are holding hands in front of his chest again. (00:11:40)
Motherhood - S5-E22
Continuity mistake: When Athena falls on the ground after mortally wounded, she was not holding her wound. When her body was shown again, she is.
Continuity mistake: During the battle in Callisto's cave hideout, Callisto leaves her sword behind when she runs to her chariot. When Callisto sinks in the quicksand, her sword and dagger are not seen. When Xena encounters Callisto in the underworld in "Intimate Stranger", Callisto's sword and dagger have reappeared.
Continuity mistake: When the episode starts Xena and Gabrielle are talking in voiceovers. When they are shown from a distance, you can see Gabrielle wearing the outfit (long brown skirt and light blue shirt) that she wears at the beginning of season 1 (right after leaving with Xena and before being with the Amazons). She also isn't carrying her stick. The next scene in the temple she's wearing the green top and short brown skirt and also has her stick with her.
Continuity mistake: When Xena starts chasing down Callisto after the attempt on the Oracle's life she has her sword in the sheath on her back, as can be plainly seen when she jumps on Argo. A couple of seconds later, there are a few shots of her charging after Callisto without her sword, which comes back in the sheath once the chase gets in open field. (00:23:00)

Revealing mistake: After Gabrielle's been wounded, there's a scene where she starts thrashing violently. A little after that, Hippocrates declares her dead despite the fact that you can see her breathing in the previous shot.
Revealing mistake: When Marcus is hanging off a wall in Hell and under attack from a harpy, there's a shot of Xena jumping on said wall to help him. When she lands, you can see the pavement give in a little, like it's made of rubber instead of stone. (00:35:45)
Revealing mistake: When Xena is fighting Celano, right after he grabs his knife to try and kill her, the shot changes to Xena, who after dropping back to the ground is supposed to be unsheathing her sword, but actually has it out already and just pretends to. (00:39:00)
Factual error: Akemi is Japanese, so the script she wrote for Xena should have used Japanese characters, however, the characters in the poem are Chinese.
